Post South Lamar

The Post South Lamar is a great example of a once immaculate building damaged by neglect and horrible managementThey poured their money into Phase of the building, and put Phase on the back burnerBecause of this, the building is never cleaned and the insect problem has gotten worseTrash is regularly left in the hallways for days at a time, and the only response by management is the assurance that the building is cleaned 3x a dayIn reality, they have no cleaning crew at the buildingIn addition to their lack of upholding community standards, the building has a consistent fire alarm issue that is surely against the local fire marshal codeThe alarms go off sporadically for alarms, particularly in the middle of the nightHowever, when there was a real alarm in the building, the alarms never went offThe records request I filed with the local fire marshal confirmed the alarms did not sound the night of the fireThe neglect of the management in the Post South Lamar bu

I have lived in this apartment complex over a year and a half and slowly but surely its been filled with inconsiderate pet ownersThere is dog poop all over the property including the hallwaysOccasionally you'll get a nice pile of urine to go along with itPet owners let their dogs in the poolThey gather in common areas to let their dogs run off leash and bark incessantlyThe walls here are pretty thin so we can hear the entirety of all conversations that happen a good fifteen feet away in the common area, so imagine what a group of dogs wrestling twice a day will do to your sanityThey pull dumpsters into the driveway almost daily leaving trash strewn aboutThis apartment quickly cycles through front office staff and will pretty much say whatever to make a tenant temporarily happy with no follow throughIt was also poorly constructed (at no fault of the current property managers) with cheap building materials - if you leave for a couple weeks expect your apartment to smell like sewage from water sitting in the plastic PVC pipes in your walls

This apartment complex is the worst managed complex I have ever experienced The staff do not seem to care and are unable to resolve simple questions related to bill payment, how to sshared rent automatic debit (My daughters roommate and I had to go into their system months in a row because it would not work) I have called days in a row concerning a billing problem, No one can answer why I received a bill and claim that their entire system is down and has been since they did an upgrade in early March (it is now May) When I asked for a manager, they said he was out and they didn't know when he would return I left a message each time for the manager to call me back Still has not happened Staff told me I should just monitor for when their system comes back up and that I would then need to completely re-set up my account "don't worry if there is late fee...just call us back" I cannot wait for the lease to be up NO customer service, staff do not care, and overpriced
