new increased payment amount went into effect on 11/17/16. The payment increased from $297.89 to $318.18. On 09/08/15, [redacted] had authorized for a periodic payment to automatically be deducted for $300.00 from her account on a monthly basis to pay this loan payment. We are unable to edit this payment without her authorization. Due to the $300 payment not being enough to cover the new payment amount, she became delinquent. The credit union has made and documented several attempts to notify [redacted] via the verified mailing address on file. In addition to the four insurance notification letters, late notices were generated to [redacted] on 12/27/16 and 1/3/17.   We placed delinquent courtesy calls to her on the 5th, 10th and 15th day of delinquency as well. When [redacted] called in and spoke with a representative, she claimed not to have received any of the letters prior to that phone call. The asset recovery manager spoke to [redacted] and explained why she became delinquent and told her she would need to do more research before committing to correcting her credit reporting. [redacted] didn’t think she had a lapse of coverage and was going to get that additional information to the asset recovery manager. Upon review of her account after the call, P1FCU did not report this delinquency to the credit bureau. A courtesy refund for the late fee was processed. The asset recovery manager tried calling her back to give her this information. We attempted to leave several messages but were unable to do so as her mailbox would not accept our full message. We have not heard back from her to date nor has she provided additional insurance information. Thank You, Chris L[redacted] President & CEO

Review: I applied for and got a atv loan through potlatch and provided proof of adequate insurance. My insurance agent even spoke with the insurance coordinator on the phone after I got received a letter saying they had no proof of insurance on file. I just received a letter in the mail stating they were putting a CPI policy on my account and raising my payment. My insurance agent once again spoke with them today and the insurance coordinator at potlatch will not return my call. My payment has been raised 23.00 a month and a customer service rep for potlatch actually just told told me I could contact the CPI insurance company to see what coverage they had purchased for me rather than help me resolve this issue and cancel the forced insurance. I am extremely upset with the customer service of this credit union and their inability to read an insurance policy or their complete disinterest in fixing the mistake they made. Not only have they not fixed their error they expected me to fix it through their insurance company on my own.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the 268.00 duplicate insurance policy

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I will however not be doing business with this credit union as soon as my loans are paid off , the customer service is non existent and I want better treatment from the people taking my money.
