Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** *** The initial complaint was filed before the truck returned to our yardWhen it was delivered here by our driver, they CUT the stacks off of our truckThere was ONE BOLT that needed removed, instead they CUT IT OFFCosting us even more moneyWe do not accept thisIt adds insult to injury-just more excuses as to why they ripped us off $and then in turn, cost us more money to replace a smoke stackI have photos that YES, I did upload to their company page on facebook, and I will do it again and again, like we told youWe are a company of our word, and I did write an unfavorable reviewI will continue to do so any time I have that option, because we have been in business for awhile as well and we don't want anyone else to get screwed overIts OUR CONSUMER RIGHT to complain, that is how you let others be aware of a company that will not abide by even the lower realm of industry standardsI have also left reviews on yahoo, yellow pages, and ANY OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE TO USLonnie quoted 650$*** asked him to run us a deal since the original tow was nearly $HE AGREEDWhy would he agree to $cheaper...then over charge us? Makes NO SENSE- knowing FULL WELL that the tires were going to have to be removed, we were going to have another company remove them for us and when he said $to handle it..we made the choice to let the company loading it take care of thatWe did not receive the bill for the 1st tow until after the 2nd one and card processed, they added a charge of $for an extra manThat WAS NEVER TOLD TO US! Its your business...a TOWING company...if you have been in business for years...you should know what man power is necessary to complete a job, and not over charge someone for an extra manYOU ARE PROFESSIONALS? That is like the Revdex.com charging me for two people to read this responseIn regards to *** calling you stupid...You were never called stupid, you were simply asked if you knew how to fax, beings that you had every excuse under the sun for not faxing us separate invoices showing us what we paid you to doAnd over paid you to doYou were given the fax number numerous times, and continued to fax our cell phones, office lines...so yes, it aroused suspicion when you would not fax the invoices to us until AFTER you ran our CREDIT CARDThere are time stamps on a fax that can prove thatThank you

Our company did business with [redacted] on 10/17/14 we towed truck and trailer to [redacted] of Pa in [redacted], ** from the 85 mile marker on the PA Turnpike 22 miles.

back to their facility. Lonnie quoted her a price of $650.00 if no problems or time that expected occurred. On 10/24/14 we towed the broken truck from [redacted] to our facility to load the broken truck for them.
The step deck trailer that arrived was 43inches high we were told 40 inches, so to make it legal we had to remove the tires and chain down the truck and all the tires. The driver called his office to let them know what was going on. When it came time to pay the bill a gentleman I believe was [redacted] was on the phone started arguing with [redacted] shop foreman, he gave me the phone, refusing to pay name calling said that not the price we quoted him, I told him [redacted] was quoted $650,00 if no problems, he argued that we were ripping him off, I told him truck doesn't leave until bill paid.
[redacted] knew the charges were $850.00 before I charged his credit
card, he gave me his credit card information and a fax number called me several name and hung up. I charged his card attempt to fax (line was busy) a [redacted] called me back name calling saying nasty stuff and told me I was stupid I could not work a fax machine. I finally was able to fax the receipt (10 minutes), gave the driver the main copies of receipts and the driver left. Our facebook was attacked by [redacted] and several people I believe she associated with. I had to remove it. I saved all the things that was written an our facebook page.
Our company has been in business for 60 years and never dealt with such unprofessional people, or company.
We take pride in our business, I have many letters and thank you card for business and individuals who spoke highly of us.

Review: On 10/23/2014 we were in need of Potoka Trucking and Repair's services. We were quoted a price of $600.00 USD, to load OUR International semi/tractor onto OUR Fontaine 2013 53' step deck trailer. Once the job was done they said it took more time for them to load the tractor than initially thought. We were NOT on a hourly rate, but a QUOTED total job amount. They, after agreeing to the $600.00 charge, illegally charged MY credit card for the amount of $850.00. I had no invoice for this charge until ten minutes after they ran my card. This is unethical and BAD BUSINESS.Desired Settlement: Settlement made to the agreed price that Lonnie and I both agreed on. Not a penny more, not a penny less.
