I purchased my vehicle on July 2, I purchased my vehicle with cashThe check engine light was on and the manager assured me that they would find the problem and fix itThey held my vehicle for weeks stating that the parts were in orderI never received status updates, I had to call several times to find out the statusI finally received my vehicle and was ready to take it to inspection and register it, only to find out that I had not received the title as yetInitially, after purchasing my vehicle I was assured that the title would be mailed in a weekIt has been a month and I still have not received my titleI am extremely disappointed in the service because I do not have the time or energy to waste to constantly follon what is already expectedI do not recommend anyone purchasing their vehicle from Potomac Auto

I purchased my vehicle on July 2, 2016. I purchased my vehicle with cash. The check engine light was on and the manager assured me that they would find the problem and fix it. They held my vehicle for 3.5 weeks stating that the parts were in order. I never received status updates, I had to call several times to find out the status. I finally received my vehicle and was ready to take it to inspection and register it, only to find out that I had not received the title as yet. Initially, after purchasing my vehicle I was assured that the title would be mailed in a week. It has been a month and I still have not received my title. I am extremely disappointed in the service because I do not have the time or energy to waste to constantly follow-up on what is already expected. I do not recommend anyone purchasing their vehicle from Potomac Auto.

Review: Was sold a car that was advertised as MD inspected. We had spoken about fixing a broken temperature gauge, and shake in the steering wheel before I took the car of the lot. After purchase of the car, I started experience problems the first day, and none of the repairs we spoke about, before I picked the car up, were made. Subsequently, I had the car inspected by 3 independent mechanics, who all failed the car. The car also has a damaged timing chain, which was concealed from me when I examined the car.When I reached out to [redacted] Auto Auction and Transport LLC, the day after, to have the car fixed, they ignored my calls, and said that the salesman who sold me the car was responsible to take care of my claims, and that he was going to be out of town for an extended period of time. I had gotten in contact with the person who sold me my car, very briefly, after the purchase, and he pushed all the problems off to me. Lastly, I was swindled in my contract. I was basically overcharged an extra $1,800 for being charged gap coverage and warranty plan twice.Desired Settlement: I'd like for all the repairs for my car to be fixed (timing chain, temperature gauge) by an independent mechanic, paid for by [redacted] Auto Auction and Transport LLC, and for the $1800 dollars that was swindled from me to be returned.The sales team at [redacted] Auto Auction and Transport LLC have clearly demonstrated that they cannot be trusted. I would feel extremely unsafe if I left my car with them, for repairs.

Review: WRITTEN IN CONTRACT DEALER STATES THEY WILL FIX CD PLAYER AND ANY OTHER ISSUES THAT COMES UP IN FIRST 30 DAYS. CD PLAYER IS NOT FIXED. DEALER SAID THEY WOULD REPAIR ENGINE BECAUSE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON DURING WARRANTY PERIOD. THEY KEPT THE CAR FOR 48 DAYS UNTIL I PICKED IT UP ON 06/13/2014 I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON 04/28/2014. I ONLY HAD THE CAR 2 DAYS OUT OF THE 30 DAY WARRANTY. WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR ON 06/13/2014 THE VERY NEXT DAY 06/14/2014 THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IS STILL ON.Desired Settlement: I WANT THE ISSUE CAUSING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON RESOLVED AND THE CD PLAYER FIXED. I ONLY HAD THE CAR 2 DAYS OUT OF THE 30 DAY WARRANTY PERIOD.
