November 6, 2015Dear [redacted] :We received the complaint filed with Revdex.comTo inform you, Potomac Disposal Incdoes not have a Contractual agreement to provide services independently to [redacted] Our refuse collection contract is specifically between PDI and the Montgomery County Government for Montgomery County, MarylandOur Contractual obligations and the regulations by which we provide services to its residents is strictly controlled by our contract with such entityWe are obligated by this contract to collect refuse and recyclables on a regular, Weekly basis.All refuse Collection containers placed on the curb are emptied and returned to the same location they were placedIf a container fails to hold the weight of the stored refuse during the collection process, the owner must seek a resolution with the product manufacturer for warranty serviceIn the complaint [redacted] filed with your office, she states that "the handle of her trash can was broken by the aggressive handling by the workers" but then contradicts herself by saying that: "obviously (she) does not think the workers broke the trash can on purpose." I responded to her complaint in a letter of which a copy is hereby enclosedUnfortunately, [redacted] does not agree with our conclusionHowever, we must stand by our decision to not replace her broken trash can since her purchased product failed under Collection practices by our field personnelAll our personnel are formally trained in the Collection process per National Waste Services standards for the industryShould you have additional inquiries about this complaint, please forward these to my attentionThank you.Sincerely, Peter ASafety and Compliance
