The company president, Zev P***, never informed my husband that the intensity of the toxic fumes would be unbearable for our family to occupy the house while paint is applied to the garage floorWe have young children and a dog, all of whom he met when he came to our homeWe were exposed to dangerous toxic fumes that caused burning in our chests and difficulty breathingI would not recommend this company to anyone

The customer contracted with Potomac Garage Solutions to supply and install the following:
1) A polyurea floor system for his garage
2) Cabinets for his garage
3) Garage door openers
4) Painting of the garage
Copies of the sales agreement have been provided
The
customer had expressed to our sales representative that he was interested in a car service lift that Potomac Garage Solutions does not sell The customer was provided with information on a partner vendor so that he could make the purchase if he chose to do so
Potomac Garage Solutions did offer, at no charge to the customer, to assist with installation of the lift, but this was not included in the scope of work of the contract with the customer The customer did provide a signed statement that he would not be requesting completion of the car lift
Copies of text messages from the customer regarding his satisfaction with the work performed have been provided
Potomac Garage Solutions is more than willing to address any addition concerns that the customer has regarding the original agreement We ask that he provide a list and photos of any outstanding issues so that these may be appropriately addressed

Review: We hired Potomac Garage Solutions (PGS) on 3/5/13 to provide flooring and a garage lift. We negotiated a contract price of 14K in which we would pay 1/3 upon start of the job 1/3 midway and the balance at completion. This project was to be a 3 day turnaround for the floor and 2 days for the lift. We are now into week 4 of this project and it is still not completed. The company also made an unauthorized charge to the card for a 2nd payment of 5K which we did not know about and the owner collected 4K at the job site because we did not know he charged our card. He now has total payment for the project and it is not complete. There are holes in our wall, the garage door opener was removed and not replaced, the lift is inoperable because the pump is sitting on the floor not connected. This company has there complete payment and the job is incomplete. We authorized a payment on 3/5/13 for 5K, they then charged our card again on 3/13/13 for 5K and received a check on 3/19/13 for 4KDesired Settlement: I want a refund of my money

We installed a parking lift and coated her garage floor. This customer had a defective pump from the Lift manufacturer. We did resolve the issue by ordering a new pump from the lift manufacturer.It took approximately 10 days for the motor to arrive on a truck. These types of products cannot be shipped through standard freight. We have resolved the issue once we installed the new pump.As to the payment of the job, We have not received the final payment of $5000.00 that the customer stopped payment to her american express card. We intend to file with the courts as soon as possible.We have finished this job and made sure all parts were working. I am under the impression from our installers that she just wanted a discount because there was a bad motor. In our agreement that [redacted]signed, we make it clear that we cannot be help responsiable for manufacturer defects or frieght time for defective products/. We as the dealer want to get the job done quickly but we must make sure all partsare working on the lift. At this point she still owes us the $5000 that she stopped payment on.Thank you for your fallow up.

I am rejecting this response because: This is an outright lie!! First, we never gave him a American Express card. The charges were placed on my husbands company Visa card. He ran the card twice for a total payment of $10,000.00. We only authorized a $5000.00 payment. We also gave him a check for $4000.00, not knowing that he had ran the card for an additional $5000. So he had total payment within 7 days of starting the job. The job took 7 weeks to complete, we were told that it would take 2 weeks. The owner continued to stall and lie about the entire situation and then stopped returning phone calls. The electrician installed the wrong outlet and that had to be redone!The entire process was a nightmare, which is why I reported them to the Revdex.com! I am offended that he would even write such a lie about we the consumer wanting a discount!!! What I wanted was for them to do the job that we paid for, in the time that was promised!!! That never happened and the owner continued to lie about everything.

ID-[redacted] did not pay the full amount owed on her job. We attemted to correct any issues she had with the garage door.The job is complete and money was refunded to her in the amount of $5000.00. The job is complete and resolved.

If you want to be the envy of the neighborhood, I recommend you give Potomac Garage Solutions a call.

Review: We contacted Potomac Garage solutions to determine if a car lift would fit in our garage. Zef (Jeff) P[redacted] and an associate came to our house, measured and informed us that it would fit and have sufficient clearance to hold one car and park another one underneath it. we paid him in three installments. Before we made the third payment we asked him to come back and re-measure because we still had some doubts. He reassured us that it would work and then convinced us to renovate the garage. We made the final payment for the lift for a total of $11,025 and made a payment by check to Jeff P[redacted] for $3,500 for the work on the garage. During the renovation of the garage, Jeff suggested a few other items for the garage and we made another payment of $2,316, this time by credit card, for this additional work. Since then we have come to the realization that we were charged twice for three 30" cabinets for a total of $1,095). After installation of the lift, we discovered the lift in fact would not fit. After numerous attempts to reposition the lift Jeff Stated, "we'll try one more thing and if that doesn't work, we'll refund your money." It didn't work. That was in August 2012. I began calling him in September asking when we could expect a check We finally received a check in early March for $7,350 - short $3,675. According to his assistant, the shortage was for work on the garage. We called him twice, his assistant once, and sent him one text message explaining that we already paid for the work on the garage and still expected reimbursement for the last payment of the lift. To date he has not returned our phone calls or text.Desired Settlement: Between amount short on the refund of the lift and the double charging of the cabinets we are owed $4,770.

[redacted] purchased a parking lift based on car measurements that he gave us. The vehicle was supposed to be readyfor delivery and never showed up. [redacted] moved his install over 6 times during the two plus years that we waited forhim to receive the new car. Once [redacted] received the car he gave me new measurements that was not what he gave me when I visited his home. PGS did the install of the lift and we were not able to accommodate both vehicles in the position that he wanted.We went ahead and made more modifications at his request including a new garage door motor and a high lift kit. We were ableto get the lift to work and have the larger car park next to the lift. The [redacted] and the [redacted] would fit and resolve the issue.During the install we also gave him wall Panelling instead of wall track. We have performed our job to the utmost respect to[redacted]. We waited patiently over 2 plus years to put his lift in. At the end of the install he agreed that it would make sense tochange the arrangement of which car would go on top of the parking lift. Unfortunately, [redacted] did not have cooperation from his wifewho did not want the lift at any expense>. According to our contract that they signed we do have a cancellation policy. The cancellation policy is 25% of the job. after the replacement of the garage door motor ($795) and the high lift kit $795) we should of held back $4346.25 from his refund. At the time of the agreement to take the lift back did he request we take back any other work performed. At no point did we double bill him for cabinets. According to his documents he was to get only 6 pieces of track. Instead of the track we paneled the whole wall.The cost to me was over $2000.
