Potomac Paint - Arlington

Review: On Jan 18, 2014 I purchased a gallon of [redacted] Aura Grade Glacial-Stream Semi Gloss and a gallon [redacted] Aura Grade Simply White Semi Gloss. At the time I noted to the person who had mixed the paints that the Glacial-Stream seemed too light and was assured that when it dried it would look darker. I used the Simply White on the ceiling and the Glacial-Stream on the wall of our renovated bathroom. My wife and I both noticed how similar the ceiling and walls were in color but convinced ourselves that in certain reflected light conditions the walls seemed darker. After installation of the vanity there was touching up that needed to be done to walls and because I had consumed all the Glacial Stream, I purchased a quart of B-M Aura grade Glacial Stream on Feb 19, 2014. I applied it to the wall area needing touching up and to my horror the color was much darker than the gallon of Glacial Stream I had previously applied. When I complained to Potomac Paint, I was told that unless I had the gallon can (which I had disposed of weeks ago) of Glacial Stream, I had no recourse and that was that despite the fact it was all due to their incompetence that the gallon of Glacial Stream had been improperly mixed.Desired Settlement: Actually EITHER A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT WHICHEVER POTOMAC PAINT PREFERSEither Potomac Paint refunds us for the gallon of Glacial Stream they improperly mixed or they provide us free of charge another gallon of Aura Grade Glacial Stream so we can repaint the walls of the bathroom at some point in the future
