We have had our puppy for eight months now, and we feel very fortunate. From the beginning, Terri advised us about training techniques, and everything we learned from her has been marvelous. He learns fast, is happy, healthy, fun and an excellent companion. We highly recommend Powder Valley Poodles.

We absolutely LOVE our sweet golden doodle from Powder Valley. Terry was great to work with and it was clear they raise the puppies well until ready to go to their forever home. They had someone from the vet school come and do personality tests on the puppies and ours was so true. We had second to last pick of the litter, and we got a puppy that was perfect for our family. I can’t express enough what a wonderful addition our puppy has been for our family. I highly recommend terry and Powder Valley puppies for the experience and love of dogs that they demonstrate.

I placed a deposit on a puppy on the understanding that I could “skip” litters until the puppy I wanted came up and I was ready.
Breeder refuses to sell me a puppy and refuses to refund the deposit. I never agreed to a forfeit deposit.
I have been dealing with Miss *** beginning in Oct. of 2017. She placed a $100 (non-refundable) deposit on an upcoming litter of puppies. She knew that the deposit was non-refundable as it is verbalized when taking the deposit and it is also on the written receipt in red lettering. When the time came to come and pay for and take home her puppy she notified me a few weeks prior that she could not at that time take a puppy. I told her that was fine and placed her in another upcoming litter. That was the first time. That was "Gabby's " litter. The second time she did the same thing -- less than a week before she was to pick up and pay for the puppy. That was "Cous's" litter. The third time she gave me three days notice that she had to postpone getting a puppy. That was, "Ritzy's" litter. The fourth time we were back to Gabby again with another litter from her. Miss *** had the second pick of 6 puppies. I had told her (in writing) that she had to choose one of these puppies or she would lose her deposit. She was angry.She never came to pick up her puppy, never called or emailed. I emailed her and called her leaving messages that since she never showed up that she was forfeiting her deposit and would not be getting a puppy.That is when she started threatening me with lawyers, etc.About a month later she contacted me again stating that she wanted a puppy. I told her her she would not be getting a puppy nor would she be getting her deposit back.However, since then I have realized that there is nothing in our receipts about what happens with the deposit if we refuse to sell someone a puppy after accepting a deposit.Wherefore, since I am refusing to sell this person a puppy I feel it is necessary to give her the $100 deposit back which I have done.
