Powell Electric has been in the service business for over thirty years and has a great reputation with all its clients and the surrounding communities We are not in the practice of harassing or threatening our clientsNo threatening Emails or phone calls have been made from Powell Electric, the [redacted] is not even overdue and would not require a follow up at this time We were contacted by Mr [redacted] via telephone on Feb 24, about getting a new address lightAt that time we sent a technician to his house to look at the lightMr [redacted] then sent an E-mail about the light, which is below, requesting a new light and possibly a transformerPer the e-mail we ordered a new light, Feb 27,and received on 3/7/When we contacted Mr [redacted] on 3/8/we were informer that he could not have the light, per the POA, and we informed him that we could send the light back and there would be a shipping and restocking fee as per the manufacture (Seagull Lighting) and our supplier [redacted] ###-###-####)We sent the light back, as Mr [redacted] did not want it, received the restocking and shipping fees, created a [redacted] and sent it to Mr [redacted] on 3/20/We never heard a word from Mr [redacted] about the charges until we received this complaintI tried to call Mr [redacted] to discuss the [redacted] and possibly to negotiate the charges but could not reach him Charges are as follows Service call $ - Charged by Powell Electric Gate fee $ - Charged by the gated community Mr [redacted] lives in Restocking Fee $- Charged by Seagull Lighting for returning the product Shipping Fee $- Charged by the supplier to ship the product back Mr [redacted] called Powell Electric for our service and directed us to order a product and we didIt is not our fault that he did not check with his POA about what he can and can't do to his houseNow it has come at our expense to clear this matter and keep in good standing with our suppliersHad Mr [redacted] contacted our office with his concerns we could have worked this matter outInstead he choose to try and diminish our reputation and bad mouth our company because of his mistakeI feel that Mr [redacted] owes the [redacted] in full but would be willing to clear this matter and delete all charges if he is willing to admit he is also at fault and promises to never use our service again Sincerely, *** [redacted] Powell Electric###-###-#### Office###-###-#### Fax We did not order this product from Lighting of New York as Mr [redacted] states we ordered it from Beaufort Winlectric, which is our local supplier and a Seagull representative

We were contacted by Mr. [redacted] via telephone on Feb 24, 2014 about getting
a new address light. At that time we sent a technician to his house to look
at the light. Mr. [redacted] then sent an E-mail about the light, which is
below, requesting a new light and possibly a transformer. Per the e-mail we
ordered a new light, Feb 27,2014 and received on 3/7/14. When we contacted

  Charges are as follows
Service call  $ 70.00 - Charged by Powell Electric
Gate fee  $ 10.00 - Charged by the gated community Mr. [redacted] lives in
Restocking Fee $47.70 - Charged by Seagull Lighting for returning the
product
Shipping Fee $25.00 - Charged by the supplier to ship the product back.
Mr. [redacted] called Powell Electric for our service and directed us to order a
product and we did. It is not our fault that he did not check with his POA
about what he can and can't do to his house. Now it has come at our expense
to clear this matter and keep in good standing with our suppliers. Had Mr.
[redacted] contacted our office with his concerns we could have worked this
matter out. Instead he choose to try and diminish our reputation and bad
mouth our company because of his mistake. I feel that Mr. [redacted] owes the
[redacted] in full but would be willing to clear this matter and delete all
charges if he is willing to admit he is also at fault and promises to never
use our service again.
