Review: On October 13th 2013, I paid cash in advance to Mrs. Janet P[redacted], in the amount of $1,657.00 all cah I have the receipt. Icontacted Mrs. D[redacted] on September 24th to downgrade or not to do prearrangements at all for my son [redacted] I explained the changes and Mrs Powell stated she did not remember if she had the money deposoited into a CD, also she did remember who I was,she asked me to see if that was on the receipt it is not. That prompted to research I dicovered she wsa suppose to send me a written document within 30 days letting me know she deposited the money into the cremation/funeral account , if so I could not do anything until my son passed. I have been trying to call these two numbers for almost 3 weeks ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### and both numbers are not in service. I also called the other ###-###-#### that also isn't the correct number from the internet either, location on [redacted] which at times she goes there and the same thing number not in service. I am going to the loacation today to see if the business is still there. I would like to have all the funds I gave her for my sons [redacted] pre-arrangements since it is obvious to me something isn't professional and unethical is occurring. I never received a letter or document stating how she deposited the funds which is required by law. and now since our conversation I am unables to reach the business at all. [redacted]Desired Settlement: The full amount of $1,675 for Pre-arrangements paid for by me [redacted] who at the time I resided at [redacted] Ny [redacted]. I now live at [redacted] Pa [redacted]. I am requesting the refund since it calls in question what would have happenend if my son passed and the business may not been there when the time comes and I would not have those services I paid for. This is toatally unaccpetable, it is stressful because the numbers aren't in service, bad business..
