Review: Customer services and communication is horrible.Was unaware of attempts to collect a debt! No letters ,phone calls nothing!They have all my information! no reason not to contact me directly!Was informed 8/9/2012 when a wage attachment was sent to my employer .The debt was paid.Another wage attachment was sent for the same debt to my employer again in 12/2012! I called agency to find out what this was about.I was informed the debt collected 8/9/12 belonged to my husband,in his name !I had no knowledge of this fact! I assumed it was for me so I did not have any problem with the wage attachment.I explained we chose to handle our finances seperatley.we have no joint accounts even though we are married.The rep stated even though it was not my debt since we are married we are responsible for each others debt.Fine,I gave my husbands employer info so proper wages could be attached in the future and if I was not notified again about a debt they have the proper employer info.This was in 12/19/2012.Another wage attachment for the same debt now in my name was again sent 5/3/13 to my employer without prior knowledge again! I again called to sort out with the same rep I spoke to in 12/2012 [redacted].she stated they sent info to my husbands employer for the debt now in my name but they never responded so instead of contacting me directly they waited 6 MONTHS then attached my wages again! I gave her my husbands HR dept direct info to take care of this issue.THEY REFUSED !We have no problem taking care of the debt.DO IT PROFESSIONALLY AND IN THE CORRECT MANNER!!!Desired Settlement: I would like them to apply the wage attachment to my husbands employer to take care of debt! Thats ALL! WE are not refusing to pay!Get organized and communicate with us,this could have been settled 6 months ago with no problems!

Review: After reviewing my credit reports, I noticed an entry from Powell, Rogers, Speaks. I do not recognize this debt and I sent a validation letter on 10/23/13 via certified mail, with return receipt. I received the return receipt and my letter was received by Powell, Rogers, Speaks on 10/28/13 and signed for. They have not responded to my letter or provided any proof that this debt is mine. This is in violation of the Fair Debt Credit Collection Practices Act. They continue to report this to the credit agencies without providing proof.Desired Settlement: Removal of this entry from my credit reports with all credit agencies
