As to this complaint,when this vehicle was first seen on 12/28/at miles we were informed of a overheat concernDiagnostics where preformed and found that coolant levels were empty and radiator hose had blown off the radiator, the nipple that the hose clamps on was damaged and no way to
clamp the hose to the nipple and get it stay onThe radiator is not a repairable radiator & had to be replacedEstimate was given of $plus tax and fluids, coolant tax total of and that is what was chargedVehicle was returned with an overheat concern again on 2/15/with miles diagnosed with no coolant in car and was leaking out of weep hole in the water pump as fast as we could put it in, estimate given of $PLUS tax and fluids, coolant $tax $total $Vehicle was returned again 4/26/milwith his exact words on after hours drop [ same issue as before overheating & coolant disappearing]We preformed a pressure check on cooling system and found no external leaks, at that point we preformed a chemical head gasket check and found coolant leaking into engine and being burned up in the exhaustHe was informed of this and given an option to try a block sealer that I have had good luck with but he was informed that this may not fix anything but I would do it for the cost of the product and that is what was chargedWe spent about two hours on it last time it was in and didn't charge anything for this timeEach time the vehicle came in it had the same symptoms but never the same causeThere were several months and several thousand miles on it in between each repair and in no way could have been driven any time at all without these repair being completedIt's possible that the first time it overheated these other parts could have been weakened and it took that long for them to fail but I can not diagnose or predict a future problem and these parts had not failed when the prior repair had been completedIt was mentioned that two weeks after repair were preformed it starter doing the same thing but he continued to drive the vehicle for several months with it leaking and overheating witch could have made already weak parts fail.As far as being accused of being DISHONEST, DEVOID OF INTEGRITY, and committing MECHANICAL MALPRACTICE these are very harsh, serious and possibly damaging accusations that I don't take lightlyThere is no evidence that any of this happened and it did not, everything that was done on this vehicle needed to be done at the the time it was presented to meI am sorry that you have had these problems but there was nothing I did or could have done to change the outcome
