On the sale to [redacted] I would like to address his bullet pointsI did speak to him after the payment had been received, and I can pull my cell phone records to indicate that if neededI would have had to speak with him because we did try to get a shipping company to ship his Suburban to him (he needed it delivered very quickly due to a vacation he was taking) I talked to him several times and then he said he would fly down and drive it homePower Motors is located over an hour away from the airport so we actually delivered the Suburban to the airport so he could hurry and get back on the roadI had sent via text pictures of exactly where it was located so he could easily find it and I did speak to him after he got itIf we had ignored his calls emails and texts, then I would never have known he had changed his mind from shipping the truck to him flying in and I needed all of his flight info so we could make it happenWe arrange shipping through outside transport companies to help buyers out and we would have been able to ship the vehicle to him but could not do it under his timeline [redacted] wired the money to us on 5-28-and the title was sent out on 6-01-via USPS Priority mail and I do have the tracking number available if neededThe phone call from his Sheriff was not necessary and at the time he called the title was already in transit to himAs far as the tires go, we knew he was taking the Suburban on a trip and I put used tires with much better tread life on there for him and they also matched the other two tires, we did this for his benefit and did not ask him to pay anything at allWe here at Power Motors do everything we can to make sure the buyers are happy with their purchase from us [redacted] also stated that key cylinder had to be replaced before he could make it home but we delivered it to the airport to him and he drove it away from there so it had to be working The ding on the fender and the chip in the window are wear and here is the actual statement on each and every listing under the description header....."We try to describe vehicles as accurately as possible, but are not responsible for any errors in the listingPlease look at the pictures as they are the actual pictures of vehicleIf the written description varies from the pictures, what you see in the picture is correctPlease understand these are used vehicles, and may have a few minor imperfections that are not noted in the ad such as: minor door dings, paint rock chips, minor rock chips in windshield, minor scratches, wheel scuffs, minor stains to interiorNote the following items may not come with the vehicle unless we stated so in the ad: jacks, spare, owners manual, transmitter remote, or floor mats; if it's not showing in the pictures we do not have themWe want this transaction to be as smooth and pleasant for both of usA happy buyer is a well educated buyer, so if you're in doubt ask us (prior to bidding on the vehicle)."

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I reject the business’s, Power Motors, response because they offered no resolutionThey failed to address all of my points, and the ones they did, the response is very misleading They did deliver the vehicle to the airport and left it In other words, they dumped the car at the airport and got out of there before I saw it because they knew that they had grossly misstated the condition of the vehicle and did not want to be there when I arrived! They knew when I needed the vehicle, and promised me prior to the money transfer, they could get it to me in plenty of time When they would not do it, I had to take matters into my own hands, and fly down there to pick it up The call from the sheriff was necessary because I got the title AFTER he called them “They replaced the tires to help me out and never told me about doing it”; that seems a bit unusual that they would do me such a big favor and never mention it! It took me over minutes to get the ignition key to work in the vehicle at the airport When I had to stop at a Chevy dealership for repairs just to get home, the technician could not start the car because the key hung up in the lock cylinderIt had to be replaced just to get it started! [redacted] told me they would “make it right” and pay for the repairs That is the last time he would answer my phone calls I have phone records also Besides all of the before mentioned problems, here are a few more: [redacted] guaranteed me this vehicle came with a spare tire However, there was not one with it [redacted] guaranteed me that the title was clear, it came with the word REPO on it They mention in their response that “if you are in doubt ask us (prior to bidding on a vehicle)” I did that, and was given a lot of wrong and misleading information about the vehicle I wonder why they won’t buy it back if it is such a great car! They stated in their ad for the vehicle that “it’s loaded and all the features are in working order” Nothing could have been further from the truthNumerous options are dysfunctional Their advertising descriptions were VERY deceptive Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.I reject the business’s, Power Motors, response because they
offered no resolution. They failed to address all of my points, and the ones
they did, the response is very misleading.
They did deliver the vehicle to the airport and left it.  In other words, they dumped the car at the
airport and got out of there before I saw it because they knew that they had
grossly misstated the condition of the vehicle and did not want to be there
when I arrived!  They knew when I needed
the vehicle, and promised me prior to the money transfer, they could get it to
me in plenty of time.  When they would
not do it, I had to take matters into my own hands, and fly down there to pick
it up.  The call from the sheriff was
necessary because I got the title AFTER he called them.  “They replaced the tires to help me out and
never told me about doing it”; that seems a bit unusual that they would do me
such a big favor and never mention it!  It
took me over 10 minutes to get the ignition key to work in the vehicle at the
airport.  When I had to stop at a Chevy
dealership for repairs just to get home, the technician could not start the car
because the key hung up in the lock cylinder. It had to be replaced just to get
it started!  [redacted] told me they
would “make it right” and pay for the repairs.  That is the last time he would answer my phone
calls.  I have phone records also.
Besides all of the before mentioned problems, here are a few
more:  [redacted] guaranteed me this
vehicle came with a spare tire.  However,
there was not one with it.   [redacted] guaranteed me that the title was clear, it came with the word REPO on
it.  They mention in their response that
“if you are in doubt ask us (prior to bidding on a vehicle)”.  I did that, and was given a lot of wrong and
misleading information about the vehicle.
I wonder why they won’t buy it back if it is such a great car!
They stated in their ad for the vehicle that “it’s loaded
and all the features are in working order”.
Nothing could have been further from the truth. Numerous options are
dysfunctional.  Their advertising
descriptions were VERY deceptive.

[redacted] did purchase the Dodge from us and did drive down here with a trailer to buy it. We had discussed a price over the phone and he was happy with it and when he showed up here, he had the check made out for a different amount. He then wrote us a check for 738.24. The check that [redacted]...

wrote was returned and the reason that was on our bank letterhead from the bank was NSF (Non sufficient funds). [redacted] had said he put a stop payment on the check, but there was not enough money in his account for it to clear, and that made it a NSF check. I do have copies of all of it from our bank that I am attaching. When [redacted] was here, he looked at the truck for well over an hour and also went on a test drive. He had said he noticed the problem as soon as he took it off his trailer, but he completely inspected and drove the truck and loaded it on his trailer with no problem at all and never told us anything at all was wrong with it. It was several days later when he had called about having any problems at all with the truck. I do still have the title for the truck here and as soon as the balance owed is paid in full and the truck is paid off either by a bank wire or by cashiers check ( and we will make sure it clears the bank first) we will gladly send the title out. All of this could have easily been avoided if [redacted] had the enough money in his account to cover the check and the bank would already have have had the title long ago, but as of today, the truck has still not been paid in full.

[redacted] came to our dealership with several family members and test drove the truck in question. He then filled out a credit application, and while we submitted it to the bank, [redacted] was outside looking at the truck and do believe he drove the truck again . At no time did he...

mention to [redacted] at Power Motors (who was the salesperson) that the truck had any issues at all or ran incorrectly. The truck had 249578 miles on it and the problems he had with it are all normal wear and tear items and we have no way of knowing when items such as these will go out.  We had offered [redacted] an extended warranty on the truck, which he declined and we have his signature on that form as well as the "AS IS" form. [redacted] traded in his 1998 Ford F150 on the deal, and at no point did he tell us all of the problems it had. The biggest of which was the "check engine" light being completely pulled out of the truck. [redacted] had owned the F150 for a year and 2 months and a state inspection would have been necessary at some point.  There would be no possibility for it to pass inspection.  At any rate, his trade had several major problems and at no point at all did we contact [redacted] and ask him to pay for any of them or even ask him about the check engine light. [redacted] also had came back to the dealership a few days after the sale because we needed a signature on another form for the bank and he then did tell us about the belts and tensioner. We had told him then that we could just unwind the entire deal and give him his F150 back if that would make him happy, because we want every customer to enjoy the purchase they make from us. We make every effort to insure the vehicles we sell here are reliable and road worthy and we unfortunately have no way of foreseeing certain items on a vehicle that may go bad in the future.

First off I did come inside after only test driving the truck once and began a credit application and was told the truck is an As Is sale never was I offered an extended warranty of which I have witnesses for. Second when I came back to address the belt and tensioner issue I was told that I would not be reembursed and was not offered to cancel the deal due to the fact that my trade in had been sent to auction. I also do not see how a greased serpentine belt and a cracked radiator are normal wear and tear. None of this explains the reason why your company has ignored my calls and texts that I do have record of, for more than 2 months. I have been lied to by this company since before the thirty day mark, and now am being completely ignored however if I call from a phone that is not mine this company will answer the phone.

On the sale to [redacted] I would like to address his bullet points. I did speak to him after the payment had been received, and I can pull my cell phone records to indicate that if needed. I would have had to speak with him because we did try to get a shipping company to ship his Suburban to him...

(he needed it delivered very quickly due to a vacation he was taking) I talked to him several times and then he said he would fly down and drive it home. Power Motors is located over an hour away from the airport so we actually delivered the Suburban to the airport so he could hurry and get back on the road. I had sent via text pictures of exactly where it was located so he could easily find it and I did speak to him after he got it. If we had ignored his calls emails and texts, then I would never have known he had changed his mind from shipping the truck to him flying in and I needed all of his flight info so we could make it happen. We arrange shipping through outside transport companies to help buyers out and we would have been able to ship the vehicle to him but could not do it under his timeline. [redacted] wired the money to us on 5-28-15 and the title was sent out on 6-01-15 via USPS Priority mail and I do have the tracking number available if needed. The phone call from his Sheriff was not necessary and at the time he called the title was already in transit to him. As far as the tires go, we knew he was taking the Suburban on a trip and I put 2 used tires with much better tread life on there for him and they also matched the other two tires, we did this for his benefit and did not ask him to pay anything at all. We here at Power Motors do everything we can to make sure the buyers are happy with their purchase from us. [redacted] also stated that key cylinder had to be replaced before he could make it home but we delivered it to the airport to him and he drove it away from there so it had to be working.  The ding on the fender and the chip in the window are normal wear and here is the actual statement on each and every listing under the description header....."We try to describe vehicles as accurately as possible, but are not responsible for any errors in the listing. Please look at the pictures as they are the actual pictures of vehicle. If the written description varies from the pictures, what you see in the picture is correct. Please understand these are used vehicles, and may have a few minor imperfections that are not noted in the ad such as: minor door dings, paint rock chips, minor rock chips in windshield, minor scratches, wheel scuffs, minor stains to interior. Note the following items may not come with the vehicle unless we stated so in the ad: jacks, spare, owners manual, transmitter remote, or floor mats; if it's not showing in the pictures we do not have them. We want this transaction to be as smooth and pleasant for both of us. A happy buyer is a well educated buyer, so if you're in doubt ask us (prior to bidding on the vehicle)."

Revdex.com:In the course of the repair on the transfer case, it was discovered that the driveshaft needed repair as well. The driveshaft is being repaired at this time, with an estimate of around $200.00. I did drive the vehicle the day I picked it up for approximately 1 mile. I did not spend over an hour examining the vehicle, the majority of my time was spent in [redacted]'s office waiting for documents to be printed. My bank will be emailing the Revdex.com in regard to the stop payment, which was done via telephone.
