Review: I DROPPED MY POOL COVER WHICH COSTS 4,000 DOLLARS FOR REPAIRS AT THIS LOCATION IN MAY,2013. I WAS GIVEN A WRITTEN INVOICE STATING IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY. I CONSECUTIVELY CALLED ON THE STATUS APPROXIMATELY EVERY 2 WEEK BI-WEEKLY TO PRESENT DAY. I SPOKE TO [redacted] (REPRESENTATIVE, SECRETARY), SHE HAD NO INFORMATION ON THE STATUS ON THE COVER OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS DROPPED OFF AT THE MANUFATURER FOR INSPECTION AND ESTIMATE OF REPAIRS. I ASKED FOR [redacted]. (PRESIDENT) TO PLEASE CALL ME BACK FOR THE STATUS. HE NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS AND MADE EVERY EFFORT FOR HIM BY PROVIDING MY CELL PHONE ALONG WITH HOME PHONE. HE NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS OR CALL MY CELLPHONE IF I WAS UNAVAILABLE AT MY HOME. (I WORK OVERNIGHTS). LAST WEEK ON FRIDAY 08/ **/13 I WENT TO POWER POOL CARE, WHERE THE FIRST TIME I SPOKE TO [redacted] IN PERSON, I ASKED HIM WHERE IS THE COVER, HIS RESPONSE WAS IT IS AT THE MANUFACTUER IN HAUPPAUGE NY " LOOP LOC" I ASKED HIM IS IT REPAIRED AND HE SAID NO. I ASKED HIM WHY WOULD IT TAKE 3 MONTHS FOR IT TO GET REPAIRED AND THEN NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS UNTIL IT IS THE END OF THE SEASON WHERE IM GOING TO BE CLOSING THE POOL. AT THIS PIONT IT WAS QUITE CLEAR, HE WAS CHARGING ME FROM 200 DOLLARS TO 600 DOLLARS OVER THE MANUFACTURERS FEES. (I CALLED THE MANUFACTUER FOR AN ESTIMATE PRIOR OF ME GOING BACK TO POWER POOL CARE). AT THIS TIME I FELT BEING TAKING ADVANTAGE AND UNRULINGLY AS A CONSUMER TRYING TO BE OVERCHARGED AND IT WAS CLEARLY DELIBERATE. AT THIS TIME HE TOLD ME TO COME BACK ON A MONDAY 08/**/2013 TO PICK UP THE COVER. I DID ON MONDAY AND HIS BUSINESS HOURS SAID IT WAS CLOSED. I MADE A PHONE CALL OUTSIDE POSSIBLY SOMEONE WOULD BE IN THERE. NO RESPONSE AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND NO RETURN OF A CALL.Desired Settlement: AT THIS POINT I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY POOL COVER IS AND IT COSTS FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. THE MANUFACTUER IN HAUPPAUGE THAT THEY DONT HAVE IT AND THEY DID A COMPUTER CHECK STATING IT WAS NEVER THERE.

This complaint is without warrant and full of factual misrepresentation by the complainant. Prior to the start of the pool season I received a call from the [redacted] household regarding damage to their pool cover, purchased by the prior owner, [redacted]. I called the manufacturer and was told that they would honor the warranty for the current owner. I went to the house and looked at the damage, speaking with a gentleman, not [redacted], In his 50's or 60' s, telling him that we take care of our safety cover issues in July after the pool opening season. On May **, 2013 the cover was brought to my store and sent to Loop-Loc (the manufacturer) on July **, 2013.

Phone calls went in both directions with no conversations occurring until August **, 2013. While on the road, I spoke with "[redacted]", and gave him some rough prices for the PRORATED warranty repairs that

were given to me by the manufacturer-Approx $200, $400 and $800. Again, I was out of the office and did not have the paperwork in front of me so I recalled the as best I could. "[redacted]" state that tie would have to speak to his son-in-law and would get back to me. As the paperwork from the manufacturer states (Being mailed under separate cover), the actual cost was $462 and $812; Is poke with Loop Loc and we came up with another alternative in the $200 range - nothing was added onto the cost of the repair, I was doing it as good will.

On Friday, [redacted] came into my store and started interrogating me, stating I told "[redacted]" that I had previously spoke with [redacted] regarding the price to fix the cover. I explained that is not what I said and the only thing that we agreed on was that [redacted] and I never spoke to each other about the cost to fix the cover. As the interrogation continued I told [redacted] that if he continues his course, I would be happy to give him back the cover and he could take it somewhere else to be fixed. His exact response was "that sounds like a good Idea." I told [redacted] that he could pick it up on Monday betweer1 2pm and Spm. That was the next business day.

On Monday, a message was left on my answering service at lpm, stating that [redacted] Are no was at my slor and no one was there_ He was correct; my store is closed on Monday's that is why I gave him a specific time of between 2pm and Spm. At 1:45, I received the message, called [redacted] and told him that I would be there by 2:00. I arrived at l:55pm and [redacted] shortly followed, at which time he took back his cover with no repairs having been done.

According to [redacted]'s complaint, I never returned his call and I never gave him back his cover, which Is the entire basis of his complaint. That Is not factual. The facts seem to show that this complaint was written after he picked up his cover and had it in his possession, this complaint Is irrelevant.
