The renter made a reservation for one snowmobile for one day on January 2, The day of his rental he signed all the required paperwork (rental agreement, waiver/release, etc.)At the conclusion of his
rental he made a new reservation for the following weekend for two snowmobiles for one day as a gift to his brotherSince his brother was not going to be able to sign for the credit card we agreed to use the signature that was on file for the previous rental for the new reservationHowever, his brother still needed to sign all the required paperwork (rental agreement, waiver/release, etc.)When the time came for his brother to go snowmobiling his brother decided to postpone the reservationThe paperwork work that was sent to the credit card company was for the January 2, rental and was only sent to show the renter was aware of our policy and procedures and was not sent to prove that the subsequent rental actually took place.Per our policy, all postponed reservations result in a credit towards a future rentalAs of today, the renter still has a $credit towards a future rentalHis credit does not expire and his credit can be used on a jet ski, boat, ATV, UTV, or snowmobile rental

At the time a reservation is made we charge the renter the first day's rent. In this case the first day's rent was $600. When a reservation is postponed any money paid when the reservation was made gets applied towards a future rental. That credit towards a future rental can be use on any type of rental (jet ski, boat, ATV, UTV, or snowmobile); it does not have to be used towards the same type of rental (i.e. if you make a snowmobile reservation and that reservation gets postponed you can use that credit towards a jet ski rental). Also, any rental credits to not expire. In this case, the renter has a $600 credit towards a future jet ski, boat, ATV, UTV, or snowmobile rental. As for the paperwork work that was sent to the credit card company, it was the signed paperwork from the first rental and was only sent to show that the renter was aware of our policies and procedures and was not sent to prove that the subsequent rental actually took place.

[Eric tried to steal money from me by keeping my $600. My brother never took the trip due to weather conditions, nor did we promise Eric that he could charge us before services were rendered. [redacted] tried sending in altered, false paperwork to Mastercard to try to justify the charge to the credit card company by using paperwork from my previous rental with some dates switched around. Totally scandalous.   ]
