I went into Powers in Brookfield today I was very taken aback I walked in and asked to have a piece of jewelry appraised The lady told me, the person I need to speak to is not in She said you try and come back another timeI said to her, "You have very limited hours." She then said, "You could call beforehand next time Here is the person you need to see." and handed me a card for Douglas P***I asked her, "Do you know when he will be back?" She said, "He is on a , um, jewelry emergency He may be back today about five, but we close at five, so..." Honestly, what is a jewelry emergency? It doesn't matterFinally I asked her, "Can you have him call me when he gets back?" She told me that he was very busy and might call me back, if he has timeIf any of this is true, how does this place stay in business? I ask you Douglas, is this how you want your business handled while you are away? I have no intention of ever returning I did feel like this experience was so awful, it warranted a review
