I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that some of the proposed remarks are not accurate. Myself and the company that manages our unit first contacted Powerstone on 4/19/2017. We left multiple messages throughout that week did not receive any response until 4/ The first response we received was from *** *** who was seemingly distant and flippant his few responses.While I appreciate their response, the issue was not dealt with in a swift manner. Here are the events that unfolded regarding this issue: 1. 11/7/5:PM E-mail from *** *** reporting plumbing back up with Pictures.2. 11/8/12:AM I forwarded *** e-mailed *** *** Plumbing to contact ***3. 11/8/12:AM I e-mailed *** that *** would be contacting her.4. 11/8/7:AM E-mail from *** the homeowner’s contractor should have installed a plug where the toilet was removed.5. 11/8/11:AM I e-mailed ***. “The plumber, ***, just followed up with me and explained that your contractor did not install a temporary toilet plug that resulted in the water back up. *** will schedule with you to conduct an inspection of the line and install a temporary plug.”6. 11/8/Drain inspected by *** *** Plumbing. Found no obstruction and installed temporary plug where toilet was removed by homeowner’s contractor.7. 11/9/E-mail report from plumber: “found no obstruction in those lines it is probably due to the line being open and waste water splashing we will camera lines but her contractor should have put temporary cap on that toilet in a multi-story situation that line is not meant to be open” Based on this the issue was actually Ms***’s responsibility. As of last night, November 7th, the issue of the system being backed up is ongoing (Photos taken 11/7)We have settled with the property owner above for neglect on their part The plumbing has been a reoccurring problem and we won't feel comfortable finishing repairs till this is resolved!!

This was a plumbing back up situation. A work order was issued to the association’s plumber to clear the line and the plumbing has been restored. The issue is now the subject of an insurance claim between the upstairs neighbor and the complainant and in the hands of the insurance adjuster. We...

PowerstoneProperty Management is the management company for the association referred to in the complaint and we act at the direction of the Board of Directors who are elected by the membership of the association. The complainant contacted our office on 4/25/17 to report a cockroach infestation. A work order was issued on 4/26/17 to the association's pest control provider to contact the tenant and address the issue. A follow up work order was again issued to the association's pest control provider on 5/8/17 to be sure the issue was resolved.While we apologize if the complainant felt our representative did not express the urgency she desired, the appropriate action was taken swiftly and without delay. In an effort to further address the complaint, we will also be sure the representative who handled this matter is counseled on the way in which her communication was perceived.Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we trust this issue is resolved.

I live at the Monterey Villas in Santa Ana Powerstone is our new property management. They have a huge issue with not keeping residents aware of issues that have occurred over the time frame that they have taking over management. It seems that every other day this complex is having issues with water but they never have a issue with watering the grass every night and even sometimes in the morning. I have to change my daily routines before going to work because it seems that we have issues with hot water in the morning. which there was no notification that we were going to wake up in the morning with no hot water. also how would you like to go 2 days with no water period. Of course as you get off work and make it home finally after being stuck in traffic and you rush to the restroom and do your #s, well guess what the toilet doesn't flush. 2 days urine an feces just sitting there. Those 2 days I called propert management and all I got was a rude female (not sure if it was the same female everytime I called) that keep telling me over and over they are aware of the problem and they have someone on site now that is fixing the issue. Well I walked the whole complex and those 2 days no one was on site after 5. But yet good old Powerstone has raised our HOA fees and I see nothing changing or getting better. I tried to wash my clothes on sunday 2/28/16 and I finally see a huge note stating that they was a sewer issue. I'm not sure when that was posted but people were in the laundry room washing clothes. Frustrating issues especially when you are unaware that you will wake up in the morning with no hot water or maybe no water at all. When does this become a health issue or a issue at all. REALLY
