Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Mr***'s description of the incident is not the way everything happenedThe tow truck driver NEVER even tried to put the spare tire on my carHe held the spare tire up to my flat tire and said it would not work because the spare tire had lug nut holes, and the flat tire only had He never even tried to see if the lug nuts would fit the holes of the spare tireI also find it interesting that Mr [redacted] changed his explanation each time Discount Tire proved him wrongFirst, he told me that universal spare tires do not fit on HondasDiscount Tire put it on my car to show me it wouldWhen I took a picture and sent it to Mr***, he then said that the lug nuts on my Honda would not fit the lug nut holes of the universal spare tireHe then sent me pictures of what I would needBut when I called Discount Tire, they said the lug nuts on my Honda will fit the lug nut holes on the spare tireThey said there was no need to buy special lug nutsThey even offered to show me again that the lug nuts would fit if I would bring my car back, but I did not have the time to do so Mr [redacted] also said I contacted him to ask why my towing bill was so highI never asked him thatI contacted him to tell him that my car should have never been towed because the tow truck driver should have put on my spare tireMr [redacted] is also blaming NBT for damaging the exhaust pipe, but when I took my car to my mechanic and described how the tow truck driver initially lifted my car, the mechanic said the tow truck was what damaged my exhaust pipe(The tow truck driver backed his truck up to the passenger side of my car, positioned the lift under my car, and lifted it so high that it nearly flipped over.) The bottom line is if my car had never been towed, then I wouldn't have damage to my exhaust pipe, and I wouldn't have had to pay $towing billAccording to the tow truck driver, I would have only been charged $if he could have put on the spare tireAnd Discount Tire showed me that he could have definitely put on the spare tire Regards, [redacted] ***

value="+12107751487">*** To Whom This May Concern, Ref# *** On the night of June 27, I received a call for a tire change at *** *** *** *** in lot I then Dispatched out unit ( *** ) minutes last he then calls me back to advice me, he would need to tow the Honda to a tire shopHis reason was that the stock lug nuts would not fit her after market spare wheel, lugs are to big to fit in the hole slots and would not be able to tighten them downAt that point it became more of a safety issue for herDriver did tow her at a discounted rate to help her out @ $150. If we would have charged her standard rates it would have come out to $$tire change $hookup $mileage at miles x $per mile *** *** called my office the next day and asked why the price was so highI tried to explain, even sent pics of stock lugs and the lugs she needed for that rim. As far as the frame and exhaust pipe, I asked her to measure to see if the creases are 4" as our truck lift is 4", she never replied back to the marks I did tell her that , it could have been done at the NTB on there lift as the marks are on both sidesI did apologize that she had to go through this messand if she had the right lug nuts this would have happen As for ***stroke Towing , we thrive on doing our best as we are a Star Rated companyand rating keep us going Thank You, *** *** Manager ***

He never even tried to see if the lug nuts would fit the holes of the spare tire.
I also find it interesting that Mr. [redacted] changed his explanation each time Discount Tire proved him wrong. First, he told me that universal spare tires do not fit on Hondas. Discount Tire put it on my car to show me it would. When I took a picture and sent it to Mr. [redacted], he then said that the lug nuts on my Honda would not fit the lug nut holes of the universal spare tire. Dispatched out unit 1 ( [redacted] )  35 minutes last he then calls me back to advice me, he would  need to tow the Honda to a tire shop. His reason was that the stock lug nuts would not fit her after market  spare wheel, lugs are to big to fit in the hole slots and would not be able to tighten them down. At that point it  became more of a safety issue for her. Driver did tow her at a discounted rate to help her out @ $150.  If we would have charged her standard rates it would have come out to $192. $75 tire change $75 hookup $42 mileage at 14 miles x $3.00 per mile [redacted] called my office the next day and asked why the price was so high. I tried to explain, even sent pics of stock lugs and the lugs she needed for that rim.  As far as the frame and exhaust pipe, I asked her to measure to see if the creases are 4" as our truck lift  is 4", she never replied back to the marks I did tell her that , it could have been done at the NTB on there lift as the marks are on both sides.
