PQS Pool and Patio Renovations

Do Not Hire PQS Pool $ Patio Renovations to construct a Sun Room!
Following research online and meeting with different contractor services regarding the change from a screen in porch to a more usable Sunroom, PQS was hired to perform the demolition and construction of a 248 sq. ft roofed and windowed Sunroom. That took place back in April of 2018 and of this review, December 24th, the room still has an inoperable deadbolt on the door preventing access to either the pool deck or the Sunroom. If this was the only issue, I would understand the bad luck, but PQS has been deficient in just about all areas of construction including time span, cleanliness, quality, response to questions, and multiple failed inspections by code enforcement.
The one area they have been timely about was demand for payment even after a total of three fixed windows were installed incorrectly, no doubt due to poor engineering, which was redone after code enforcement identified numerous mistakes. Also, the workers assigned to the project failed to meet basic quality control measures and used a totally off-color paint to try to cover up scratches. Only after the photographic evidence was provided and numerous emails did PQS send a qualified contractor from a different company out to fix the problems, order new windows, and door, (still inoperable). I have included some photographs to show the quality of work that PQS considers passable *** customers. As we approach another Holiday eight month after the contract was signed, the room is still presenting with problems. I hope the earlier water leaks from the roof do not appear.
The only bright spot was an employee named *** that had the task of answering my emails and trying to coordinate all the repairs. If not for her, this review would have been zero stars. PQS will respond correctly by stating that they did finally sent out a qualified professional contractor by the name of ***, who was very good, but the compilation of problems encountered during this project leaves me little choice but to warn potential customers to thoroughly evaluate all choices when it comes to the hiring of Florida contractors.

Finished everything I could have ever wanted for a patio and a pool renovation within 1 week and a half. I recently had PQS Pool and Patios installing a patio roof. Their quotes were very competitive, I was really impressed with this company from beginning to end. The quote person John was prompt and had good ideas. Michelle came and checked everything before and prior to making the product. The installers were professional, efficient and helpful. They paid real attention to detail and when relevant, they ensured that I understood what was being done and why. It was so nice that they took all the rubbish and off cuts away as well. Michelle in the office was lovely and so prompt with everything, permits, surveys, contracts. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this local company.

Great bunch of people. The salesman that gave us the estimate was very professional and provided all of the information with no hidden fees. The financing of the project was a breeze using a finance company associated with PQS. The block work was completed ahead of schedule and matched the existing style that we had previously installed with another company. The workers that did the work were very neat and all trash was removed. My contact with the company was very pleasant to work with and she answered my questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them for any block work.
