Review: On Monday April 22 I made an appointment for a haircut. I asked how much it was. I was told 50 dollars. The haircut was to take place 2 days later on 2/24.
I arrived and got my haircut, it took 1 hour. When I went to leave I was told the cost was 55 dollars. I informed them that the price I was quoted was 50. Then they said that 3 hours ago (so 2 hours before my haircut) they raised the price. No one ever told me that the prices were increased. I thus accepted a service beleiving it was $50 when 2 hours prior they had changed the prices and not informed me until after I had accepted the service and had no choice other than to pay.
This practice should not be permitted it is abhorrent and dishonest. While it was only $5, what if the price had gone up 20? Where is the line drawn on this?Desired Settlement: I would like to get the $5 back from the business and would hope that do to the hassel and as an apology they would give me an additional discount to show goodwill.
