Prairie Gate Community Apartments Reviews (%countItem)

I've been DISRESPECTED, HARASSED, THREATENED and LIED on because of my service dog and I have only been in my unit for 3 months now. This all started the 1st week my boyfriend and I moved into our new apartment. I have tried to reason with my downstairs neighbor and the office and have done everything that the apartment leasing manager (*** Greene) has told me to do such as coming out of pocket to accommodate my downstairs neighbor (Ebony Smith). Nothing worked unfortunately, therefore I am being forced to make a decision that will impact me financially, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. I either have the choice to break my lease and move out willingly, transfer to another apartment unit within the same apartment complex at my own expense, get rid of my service dog permanently, or get evicted. How is this providing excellent customer service? As of Wednesday, 2/26/2020, I lost my job and still have to try to find a way to make ends meet on top of all of this stress that Ebony and the manager are causing me. I do have a mental disability and to top everything off, *** took it upon herself to contact my psychiatrist and question her ability to do her job and stated that she was practicing illegally. I'm sorry, but when did it EVER become legal to contact someone's health physician and question their ability to do their job and diagnose their patients and with what diagnoses? Last time I recalled, that was VERY illegal and should NOT be tolerated. I contacted the corporate office by email and by phone and still no response. I was charged $100 for watching my parents puppy for two days. Apparently, Ebony went to the office and lied stating otherwise and added more lies which resulted in a fee. I wasn't aware that I had to inform the leasing office of keeping my parents for a few days while they were out of town, plus the leasing office was closed during that time. Nothing is being done about this situation and I'm still , till this day, receiving the emails about paying fees. Please help!

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like to have *** transferred to another property and *** removed from Prairie Gate Community apartments that way they are not causing anyone else more grief. No one should have to live their life in fear and walk on eggshells as I have done. I am also requesting at least one month of free rent and reimbursement for moving expenses seeing that I have no choice but to move and all of my deposits reimbursed. Thank you!

Ms *** has never been harassed, disrespected, threatened or lied to by anyone on the Prairie Gate staff. Ms. has received several lease violations for not abiding by the TAA guidelines regarding her dog and the disturbance to her surrounding neighbors on a daily basis.
Ms. requested to move to another unit and we have accommodated her to a ground floor.

Kindest Regards,

***, CAM

I have been caused severe emotional, mental, physical, and financial distress because of all of this. It's not fair that I had to come out of pocket and move all of my things by myself because of the downstairs neighbor that doesn't want anyone living above her. Yes, I did transfer because I didn't have anywhere else to go and that would have been the better option vs dealing with the ongoing harassment from the downstairs neighbor & management while constantly getting unwanted emails and letters and texts in regards to me living my life as normal with my emotional support animal/service dog. The downstairs neighbor is super loud when she talks and blasts her music throughout all times of the day and night, but management doesn't do anything about that. I'm just not understanding why *** and the downstairs neighbor can get away with murder for someone who has a disability, temporarily no job, medical issues, and has never bothered anyone and was nice and respectful to everyone. As stated before, *** Greene has contacted my psychiatrist and questioned her ability to do her job and ask about my medical issues. WHAT GIVES HER THE RIGHT TO DO SO? THAT IS ILLEGAL AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT IT ASAP. I would like to be compensated for the punitive damages.

We have accommodated the resident by allow her to move to another unit. also one of my team members spent 45 mins of her time helping Ms. move which she did not have to. As stated before and would be happy to send you all the violations from her file if it is needed. I worked closely with my Operations Manager when having to deal with Ms. and her and her boyfriend continued high noise level of disturbance to other surrounding neighbors as well as having her curse at me on the phone with other team members listening to her speak to me, as well as having her boyfriend approaching the downstairs neighbor in a threating way with the dog. I could go on about the outburst Ms. has demonstrated at Prairie Gates.

Once again, the "noise" that *** is referring to is from NORMAL LIVING. It is NOT our fault that whoever decided to build these apartments decided to go with METAL staircases and THIN walls, ceilings, and flooring (poor insulation). You can seriously hear EVERYTHING. Kassey is the only one that is helping me at this moment. She has ALWAYS provided excellent customer service and has gone over and beyond for her clients. *** Greene does NOT show that at all, but yet shows favoritism towards the downstairs neighbor (Ebony Smith) who started all of this. Instead of talking things out like adults, *** provoked it and insisted that Ebony call the police for EVERY single sound that she heard coming from upstairs. As for the profanity part, Ebony cursed at us and called me out of my name on several occasions and *** along with Kassey (assistant manager) was right there in the meeting when she admitted to doing so. Also, Ebony is the one that came out of her apartment and provoked my boyfriend with all of her yelling and cursing. In my absence, my boyfriend will NOT allow for anyone to call me out of my name and continue to disrespect. He stood his ground as she also did. There has been several times that we were awakened from our sleep from working nights due to Ebony yelling and screaming at her son and blasting her music. As for my boyfriend approaching Ebony in a threatening way with the dog; he was walking the dog and wanted to introduce himself and make peace with her since we have never meet. I have talked to Ebony about this and she stated that it was NOT a threat. This non-sense has been going on since the day I moved in which is absolutely uncalled for and ridiculous. Out of all of this chaos, I have still not received a logical answer as to why *** contacted my psychiatrist and questioned her ability to do her job and my medical issue.
