This person is not a customer and has never been a customer and does not appear on any of our subscriber lists Our customer lists are comprised of people who have actually purchased or requested information about our products We follow all federal regulations regarding email marketing
We use ***, the leading email marketing service provider and there is always a link for people to unsubscribe from the list However, we have no record of this email address anywhere in our marketing databaseWe also reviewed our unsubscribe list and the email is not on that list either, which means he never was subscribed We would request that this complaint be closed as we have no record of the person ever subscribing or being sent an email

I am rejecting this response because: This is the same response they made before but it did not happen - they continued to send me spam mailThe company was rude, unprofessional, basically a bunch of jerksAsking them to stop sending me unwanted mail would not seem to be such a great thing, but they are unwilling to do this. If their spamming agents won't comply with their delete requests, maybe they should consider different spam agents? The ads in question are offensive, contain materially statements and the headers of their messages are deliberated altered to prevent tracing to the originating ISPIn the past, where I could identify the originating ISP, I've complained to them directly - usually with successOhio has a specific statute penalizing unsolicited email senders who send messages with altered message headersMaybe that will encourage them to stop spamming meNothing else, so far, has seemed to work.As before, STOP SENDING ME SPAM EMAIL

The data provided was helpful in determining the source of the email. We have removed *** from all global lists. We apologize for this inconvenience

I apologize that you received additional emails. We have independent marketing companies that email and they have been informed to remove your email from any and all lists. It appears that wasnt totally successful. So we have gone back to our global email list as well as the marketing agencies and made sure your email is not on any listPlease note that you said the email you want to remove is ***. We have added that to our list as that email is different than the email you gave before. (it might be a typo). So both emails will be added to the list to remove your email

I am rejecting this response because: this company continues to send spam email to [redacted].  It's not my imagination. JPG images of the ads are attached, including the complete message header. All of these headers are deliberately altered by the sender to prevent detection of the origin. The ads are sent using a Liberian hosting service - a sure sign of quality spam advertising. When companies such as Prairie IT (parent of Xtra-PC - Photostick) use blast email marketing, they have no knowledge of where their spam is going . . . and most companies really don't care.  Prairie IT seems to be squarely in that latter category.

I am rejecting this response because: the business is simply not truthful. There was nothing in the information I provided that they did not know on 9/4/2017. Please see the attached message from their customer service department, dated 9/4/2017. This business previously said "Our customer lists are comprised of people who have actually purchased or requested information about our products." Clearly not true. I've never purchased anything from them, never requested information, never even heard of them (and for sure I wish I had never heard of them). Then they said "We follow all federal regulations regarding email marketing." Perhaps they can explain why their spam mail has altered headers to prevent tracing the message to the source ISP?And then "We use [redacted], the leading email marketing service provider and there is always a link for people to unsubscribe from the list."  But, if you don't honor an 'unsubscribe', does that still count? And then "We also reviewed our unsubscribe list and the email is not on that list either, which means he never was subscribed." So the spam mail was all my imagination?  What planet are they on? Final untruth: "We would request that this complaint be closed as we have no record of the person ever subscribing or being sent an email." On their Xtra-PC website (same company - https://www.xtra-pc.com/about-us/) they advertise "Xtra-PC is a Christian family business". How touching. The reality is that this company is dishonest, takes other people's resources without asking, sends out spam mail in clear violation of federal regulations, obfuscates and bluffs when confronted with their wrongdoing. Did I miss something?
