I purchased A car from *** at Prairie North Auto Sales 2 weeks ago and was led to believe this was a well maintaned and reliable vehicle, the advertisement said 300,000 km and *** had told me on numerous times that this was his fathers car who had a stroke and that's why he was selling it
He never mentioned how many things were wrong with this car and claimed to do all the maintenance himself
First off we went to a gas station where I filled the gas tank up and then he dropped my son and I off at *** so and said he was going to pick up his mother, he showed up an hour and a half later, he never let me test drive the car until I paid the 2375 by email transfer, it was 7 pm by this time and on my drive home I noticed I didn't have much for brakes, also the speedometer said 329,000 and not 300,000 as advertised, the brake fluid was down to less then half and when I could turn a corner without standard steering I checked the level and it was pretty much empty, I replaced the reservoir thinking it was a leak but I find out the steering pump needs to be replaced, I have been adding fluid daily, also the horn didn't work

He also changed the rubber from 16 inch to 17 inch which at 109 I was doing 119 according to a speedometer check, never calibrated and this car comes factory with 16 inch rubber and the tires are garbage

I emailed him and asked for a refund of 300$ for the steering pump and I can fix the rest, I have heard nothing back
