PrairieCare provides mental health services in a compassionate and empathic manner and take seriously our commitment to transform psychiatric care and provide every individual patient with care they truly needWe operate with respect for the
intrinsic dignity of patients and their families and pride ourselves on providing ethical careWe also are also diligent around the confidentiality for our patients and families and are therefore unable to discuss any case with the Revdex.com without formal medical releases of informationWe do have a patient advocate we encourage patients to reach out to if there should be any dissatisfaction and have a 95% positive resolution rate with this processPrairieCare follows guidelines for billing practices standard in the health care communityWe do contract out our billing to a reputable organization used by many in the health care industry and collaborate with them if there is a concern from a client brought forthPrairieCare is in network with most insurance companies including Mayo (MMSI/America's PPO, etc.) However, the coverage varies, and we encourage patients to check with their provider to see what actual payments would beWe have several payment plans available and are open to discussing unique circumstances with flexible plansWe strive for every patient to leave PrairieCare feeling and knowing they have received excellent care and we expect this to continue with all interactions with PrairieCare after they leave, including our billing department

First, I would like to say that I was never given the opportunity or instructed how to speak with a patient advocateSecond, the director of Prairie Care in Rochester called me to follow up on this complaintI did appreciate thatHowever, the same day he called me, I got a FINAL NOTICE stating that I am being sent to collections, even though I have been paying regularly and gave all of my financial information to a "Monica" at billing in hopes that I would be allowed to make payments instead of paying my account in fullThis is very personal information they had requested and received but claim not have to received itNot only that, but YES, they are "in network" at Mayo now, but they were not at the timeThis would have saved me a lot of money, but they specifically said YES when I askedNOW, I said this is quite a shame that you are in network now and can't reduce my bill to help out and reflect thatI got the response "Yes, that's a shame."
That's it? The social worker we have through the county agrees with my complaints and has several families that have similar complaints
Prairie Care has also still not sent my daughters school credits to me, which we needThat should be part of the whole processWhy isn't it?
There are other similar complaints out there about this companyI would never recommend their services to anyone
The only reason I am accepting their response is because I know I will not get anywhere by not acceptingTheir response is nice and fluffy and sounds great but it has not been AT ALL what I have experienced with their billing office
