Bought a Aquarius CenturyStone tub shower unit 3 years ago. Told to use dish soap for cleaning. The tub will not clean and looks like the finish is distorted. Dark and light spots and looks like the tub is dirty. Will not pay the extra money for a Praxias product ever again. Have much better luck with a home depot sterling tub unit.

Multiple defects in the tub shower unit. The contractor indicated this was a manufacturer sourceI initially e-mailed Praxis on January 12,2016 with a letter of product disappointment to a Tony Miller. We were near completion of our new home when I discovered multiple imperfections on our Praxis tub/shower unit. SN: PXXXXXXXX. Cracks in the wall and around center soap holder. Flaw on the center handrail. I attached 7 pictures which accurately viewed the imperfections. I also indicated that this unit could not simply be replaced at this stage in our newly constructed home. I was very upset. This was a brand new unit! I did show the contractor the damage and he indicated this was not a result of his installation. I was requesting a refund for this poorly manufactured product and at the very least to have a factory rep come and repair this with the hope it would look like a brand new unit. I promptly received an E-mail from Ginger Y[redacted] at Praxis Companies who indicated to me and I quote "it appears that the issues you are having are not manufacturing defects. These appear to be damage from some source." I should speak to my builder. This issue was dumped back in my lap again! I received absolutely no help from contacting the company. I already spoke to my contractor as stated above. I feel the company is passing the buck. They made no attempt to assist me with the problem let alone offering to send a company rep out to evaluate the problem. Ms Y[redacted] concluded, if she could be of further assistance to please call. I don't think she assisted in anything so why call? As a consumer I feel I am getting the run around. I simply want the unit repaired and Praxis Company to stand behind their "commitment to high quality products and being a leader in premium bathing products"! This company has received their payment in full for their product. They should reciprocate. Their attention and efforts should be focused on making the consumer(me)a satisfied and happy customer!Desired SettlementSince this unit cannot be replaced without major construction issues the only alternative I have is to have it repaired as new condition.Business Response We did receive an email from Ms. [redacted] regarding her unit. After reviewing her email and the attached photos, it became very clear that these issues were not manufacturing defects. I am attaching the email document that includes the photos of these issues.Email document:If Ms. [redacted] would like to contact a fiberglass repair service to make the necessary repairs, she can contact Garner Fiberglass repair service @ XXX-XXX-XXXX.From: [redacted] Sent: Tuesday, January 12, XXXX X:XX PMTo: '[redacted]@aol.com'Cc: [redacted]Subject: FW: Letter of Product Disappointment Ms. [redacted], After reviewing your email and the photos that you have sent to us, it appears that the issues you are having are not manufacturing defects. These appear to be damage from some source. I would speak with my builder and see what he can tell you. All of the areas appear to be repairable. When a product is repaired, it certainly doesn't hinder the structural integrity of the product nor the cosmetic value. I we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact me at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Thank you. From: Tony M[redacted] Sent: Tuesday, January 12, XXXX X:XX PMTo: [redacted]Subject: FW: Letter of Product Disappointment From: [redacted]@aol.com (mailto:[redacted]@aol.com) Sent: Tuesday, January 12, XXXX X:XX PMTo: Tony M[redacted]Subject: Letter of Product Disappointment To whom it may concern: We are presently getting ready to move into our newly built home in Clarkridge, Arkansas. What a tremendous disappointment when I walked into our guest bathroom and the following imperfections were noted on your Praxis tub/shower unit SN: PXXXXXXXX shown in the attached pictures and listed: 1) cracks in the wall, 2) flaw on center hand rail, 3) cracks around the center soap holderI have to wonder about your "Commitment to high quality products and being a leader in premium bathing products". This unit is brand new! The reason we purchased this unit was because of the durability and maintenance free up keep that comes with this type of unit. As you know this unit cannot simply be replaced at this stage of completion in our new home, even though our contractor assured us a factory representative would come out and fix the problem. I feel a full refund for this unit is not asking too much for the headaches and frustration this has caused. In addition, if this unit is repairable, it will indeed look like a brand new unit and not a second....correct? Sincerely, [redacted]@aim.com

I have a bathtub that is cracked. It has been repaired 2 times in 5 weeks and now I am not getting return phone calls regarding a third crack. The all-in-one bathtub/shower product installed in my home is within the 3 year warranty period and was purchased approximately 6 months ago. We moved into our new construction home in late October and the unit has cracked 3 times. The first time it took approximately 3 weeks to schedule an appointment and get a technician to our home. The Technician felt the wall was defective but tried to fix the product. Within 3 days it cracked again in the same area. The second time it took appoximately 4 weeks to schedule an appointment. The plant was closing for the holidays and the Techs did not work through Christmas. After the holidays I called back to find out our status and was told that our information had been overlooked and we started the process over again. After the fix was complete, the product cracked again within about 2 weeks. We were gone during most of this time, so I am not aware how long the fix actually held. Now I am trying to reach back out to Customer Service; however, I am being direct to the Customer Service Manager and I am not getting a call back on my issue. I explained to a representative, [redacted], that I travel extensively for work and a call back this week would be very helpful because I am not traveling currently. She agreed to pass along the message last week, but I have not heard back. I havve tried to call today, but go straigh to voicemail.Desired SettlementI am seeking to have this unit replaced because of the consistant issues we are having with it. I have contacted my contractor and he agrees that the issues are recurring at a frequency that warrants replacement.
