Review: On 10/1/2014 I signed a contract with the real estate agency PREA Realty, with Agent [redacted] (Lic#[redacted]) and her broker [redacted] (Lic#[redacted]) and co-owner [redacted] (Lic#[redacted]). On 10/3/2014 I paid two checks each for $[redacted] (total of $[redacted]) to [redacted] for the commission to rent my house located at [redacted] for 12 months based on our contract signed on 10/1/2014. My complaint is that they are in breach of their contract with me as the tenant whom they had found and moved to my house on August 1, 2014 never paid me or them, despite their responsibility to check and verify the deposit and the first month rent from him prior to his moving in to my house. They took a personal check for $[redacted] from the tenant and deposited in my account which was later bounced and not cashed due to the account being closed. They lied to me and said the money was cashed and wired to me. They gave the keys and let him move in to my home and lied about depositing a personal check in to my account not cashed. They clearly are in breach of contract as I never received the funds. They clearly did not keep their end of responsibilities, Furthermore, they were paid commision for their services to find a tenant to rent my house for 12 months. The tenant moved out of my house after one month without ever paying me any rent nor any deposit. I not only lost rent, but , when contacted and asked the agent to get my keys and my rent and deposit from their tenant, The Agent and broker refused to help securing the rent from the tenant or returning the commission paid to them and argued that its my problem I have to go after the tenant. However, the commission that was paid to them according to the contract was based on a 12 month rent which was never received from the tenant. Furthermore, when I asked for refund on the commission I had paid to them , they refused to refund the commission as well.Desired Settlement: I would like to get refund for following expenses that I have gone thru:One month lost Rent Tenant occupied and never paid $[redacted]Commission paid to Prea Realty (other agent has paid back) $ [redacted] Proof of lost Rent and returned deposit and rent from other applicant to rent 2 months from Oct to Dec 2014(2x2200) $[redacted]Lost rent and return deposit and rent from Dec 19 to Dec 26 $[redacted]Total of expenses and lost rent $[redacted]
