I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The letter written by Precise Mechanical Air Temperature Control is absolute fiction.

Regards,

I had my 2003 Toyota Rav 4 Automatic fixed by precise mechanical December 2013. They replaced the transmission and ecu computer. Upon picking my vehicle up the mechanic told me that my dust covers where placed in my boot as they where originally zip tied on, which I thought was a little strange. I started having trouble with the guards realising they where also not screwed in as they where making a terrible noise. After 2 months they finally replaced them. My car was having the same type of trouble again by this time and I let the mechanic know. Upon collection he let me know he put non slip fluid in the transmission.
In March 2014 a mechanic friend visited me ( from 4 hours away). He looked under my car after hearing about the issue, as my car started to jump in gears again, and took my dust covers out of my boot and then he showed me underneath my vehicle. There was certainly no place for zip ties, and their where still dust rings on the covers where screws had been. This made me very unhappy. And when the mechanics told me they may need to replace the transmission again that I would have to pay for the part again, and only have the work done free. I argued the point until they agreed to replace it all for free as I had already paid $2600 for the work to be done. Upon taking my vehicle to be looked at I said to the same mechanic, if they where to replace the transmission again to put the dust covers back on correctly. The mechanics had my vehicle over the weekend used all the fuel and told me there was nothing wrong with it. It smelt like oil when collecting it. And worked fine for a short time yet again. Upon taking the vehicle back numerous times. I spoke to the fair trade ombudsman, has Torque Toyota replace the ecu computer with a reconditioned transmission and new ecu computer, which was a known issue with Rav 4's and Precise should have checked the reconditioned transmission and ecu computer they placed in my vehicle properly, I then went through Qcat Court, won the case. Precise Appealed the case and lost.
I have their written appeal documentation that was sent to the Qcat Courts and a copy to myself, and I believe this should be for every consumer to read. ( I can email a copy if you need proof)
Precise stated that I told them I needed a new transmission and ecu computer, that they just did as they where asked. That they are a small business and can not afford to pay me.
My response to this utter discrase is I took my vehicle to a qualified mechanic to have it fixed as I did not know what was wrong with it. I told them I thought it was the gearbox and didn't know anything about ecu computers until all the troubles I've had.
Precise lost this appeal.
But still won't pay me the $2837 the court has ordered them to pay me for my parts I had replaced and court fees. Not only that I paid Toyota $4000 to have them replaced properly, the Judge even said (in the Court Recording I also have) why did I not claim that amount as I am entitled to it and it is my belief that what I was asking for was fair. Just the court fees and the money I paid them. Yet with all of this known to Precise Mechanical Morayfield and the owner James D[redacted], will not pay me the money they owe me.
And I have to go through Magistrates Court to Finalise this for once and all.
So now I believe the entire world has the right to know what they have done, and if they has only of just paid me the money. I would have been happy and forgotten the entire 2 year event.
Instead I am sharing it with everyone, starting with you.
Thank you!

In response to the complaint from the tenant, [redacted].I tried to contact [redacted] several times after he called my cell phone to follow up with the painting of the wall.  The business number was left on both times I returned his calls but he continued to try to contact me on my cell...

which does not get service at the office. As far as the complaint about his foot, he showed signs of anger issues that evening when his son did not clean his room and he was throwing his toys off the balcony and yelling.  He kicked a box att that time that was a precise mechanical box, the technicians were  not sure if it was the heat kit box or some other box.  One of the technicians called me at home and told me what they were experiencing and I told them to leave the premises if it was uncomfortable for them to see him verbally abusing his son.  They ended up staying to try to finish the work.  The clean may have not been as extensive as we usually do, the workers had been there 14+ hours and it was midnight before the last technician checked out for day but [redacted] was accommodating the situation by allowing the technicians to leave their tools since they had to return the next day.  Neither technician recalled seeing the heat kit box at the time they left. I recieved pictures of [redacted]'s foot the next day and complaints that the technicians left this box and he accidentally kicked it and broke his toe he thought. Prior to this installation, a technician and I were at his home to do the estimate for the installation and he asked me if we would fix a door jam that was broken.  I asked him what happened and he said he broke it when he was angry. I believe [redacted] has anger issues and he kicked that box hard enough to hurt himself and it was not acccidental.

Review: In September 2014 Precise Mechanical Air & Temperature Control installed and both indoor and roof air conditioning units. During the installation, one of their supporting workmen

1. DROPPED HIS PHONE INSIDE MY CONDO WALL, it had to be cut out and drywalled. The drywall was never completed/painted. I have received requests for the paint, but the paint was already present. The job was never prioritized & completed.

2. The same supporting workman left boxes in my kitchen overnight, that I tripped over and nearly broke my foot. I shared images of both the injury and the part & box that caused the injury. The business recognized their responsibility. I was told this wasn't their practice.

3. At the time of billing, consideration for my injury as well as the incomplete work were not addressed.

While the work was well done, and their lead crewmen were professional, the business relied on apology instead of substance concerning the above mentioned issues.Desired Settlement: Finish the work and offer financial consideration for both the yet unresolved work and the injury received due to their employee's negligence.

Regards,

This has got to be the most awesome company ever. They were there for us when orangutan home services hung us out to dry. We are an animal shelter and orangutan did not warrenty their work and Precise came in and fought for us and got the warrenty upheld and they are caring prompt and very fair priced where as orangutan home services over charged us 75% for the new system we had installed by them. I would most definatley recommend using Precise for all my needs
