While PreciseParkLink Edmonton did send me a picture of my car's dashboard for that day, only 2/of my dashboard were visible in the imageThe display clip that my vehicle has and that was holding the proof of parking on that day is on the drivers side and is not visible in the picture (as the photo was taken from the passenger side of the vehicle)I still believe the parking attendant missed seeing the proof of payment displayed in my car on that day, which is unusual considering that (according to the photo) the parking ticket was placed on same sideWhat the picture has revealed to me, however, is that the parking attendant clearly did not secure the parking ticket to my windshield wellIt is only barely held down under my windshield wiper by a small corner and therefore I am no longer surprised that it was not at my vehicle when I returned to itAdditionally, despite having multiple correspondences with the company before going to the Revdex.com, it was only after I issued a complaint with the Revdex.com that I was provided proof of there ever being a parking ticket left on my vehicleI am disappointed in how the company handled my case [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The assertion that there was no down time that day is completely falseThere was a lady in ahead of me trying to use her credit card and it was not allowing her to specify an amount of timeA man standing close by said that he was trying to feed coins and they just kept falling through (an experience I've also had with this machine in the past).This ticket is completely unwarranted.* *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** * *** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** ** ***In future I will drop my mother off and park at the *** lot a block away.*** ***

The facts above are not entirely correctMr*** originally purchased hour of parking at 8:a.mon Nov11/His parking expired at 9:a.mThe violation was issued at 10:a.mfor an expired receipt (which had been expired
for in excess of hour)Immediately after the violation was issued, Mr*** purchased an additional 1/hour of parking at 10:a.mand an additional hour at 11:Purchasing parking AFTER a violation has been issued does not negate the parking violationThe original violation invoice was placed on Mr***'s vehicle on NovHe made no attempt to contact us until such time as the violation had been sent to the collections department and had increased from $to $A Collection letter was sent to Mr*** on February 23rd to which we received a reply in late MarchWe responded to that letter advising Mr*** that as a courtesy we would reduce the outstanding amount to $to cover costs for AMVIR and administration feesWe have not received a response from him

The signage on this lot quite clearly states that the parking is for "Patrons" of the mall onlyMr*** quite clearly states in all of his disputes that he was at a building across the street helping a friend moveThe invoice will not

We are unsure as to why we received this complaint. Mr. [redacted] has paid this violation invoice.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
no the...

ticket has not been paid - please confirm the ticket has been voided.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/02/10) */
Through further investigation it was found that this particular Parking Invoice was NOT paid - there had been an earlier invoice in January of 2015 that was issued to Mr. [redacted] and it was paid. [redacted] The invoice in this complaint was issued to plate no.[redacted] and we received a dispute from an [redacted] in October 2016 stating that she should not have received said invoice. Out dispute department explained to Ms. or Mr.[redacted] that the invoice was issued as the vehicle was parked on the Palliser Centre lot and there is CLEAR signage all over the lot stating it is "customer parking only" while conducting business at the Palliser Centre. Her response was that there was NOT clear signage when indeed there is. [redacted] The Parking Invoice was issued validly and we explained that to [redacted] back in October and advised them that the invoice would NOT be voided [redacted]

We require the Parking Invoice No. or the plate no. of the vehicle before this can be reviewed.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/11) */
We are unsure of what the complaint here is. Both of these violations have been paid by Mr. [redacted]
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/08/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I...

called back and they gave me the option to pay the $50 amount per ticket (after telling me earlier it had risen to $100 per ticket). I decided to just pay because I can't afford the risk of paying the higher price, and the possible risk of my credit rating, as it had already reached the deadline.
My complaint is quite obvious is it not? The "resolution" given by your representatives were unsatisfactory by giving me bad excuses for the malfunctioning of your machines. They continually ignored my questions and requests, telling me they weren't allowed to talk about it anymore (and eventually ignoring me altogether).
Just because I broke down and paid the tickets doesn't mean I think you handled things diligently and ethically, and it doesn't change anything I wrote in my initial dispute.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2015/09/14) */
As previously stated, both of these violations were paid at the $50 amount as issued.
The meters keep extremely accurate audit counts of all transactions vs. monies collected. In both cases these meters were cashed out and the transaction amounts vs the cash amounts were exact i.e. there was not extra cash in the meters.
The meters also keep record of all alarms or problems with the machines and there were none reported on either of these.
There are also nos. posted on the meters and on the signage for customers to call in the event that one may be having trouble with the machine.
Mr. [redacted] did not call to report he was having difficulty at the meter at the time he was attempting to purchase parking, the meters did not report any overage in cash or any 'trouble'. We only heard from him once he had received a violation and the violations were paid.
From our standpoint, our meters functioned completely properly and the lot signage quite clearly states that in the event customers do not pay, they will be issued a parking violation.
As far as we are concerned this is dealt with.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2015/09/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I will ask one more time. When I sent in my dispute on [redacted] 23rd, did you send out a technician to test what I described on the same machine? What were the results?
There is no simpler way to determine the truth of the situation.
If you tell me that "x" technician tested my problem on the same machine at "x" time on "x" day, and found no errors that I described, I will consider this resolved.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/06/09) */
The consumer parked their vehicle in the lot at 5:52 p.m. and purchased 1/2 hour of parking, expiring at 6:22 p.m. They were not 45 minutes passed expiry time but rather almost and hour and a half.
Further, the parking lot is located...

directly across the street from the restaurant and returning to the lot to extend the time would have been relatively simple. In addition, this lot has a [redacted] and the consumer could simply have extended their parking time without having to leave the restaurant.
The violation was issued validly and remains outstanding.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/06/14) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
$85 is a ridiculous amount.
$12.00 is the full day rate and that would be acceptable.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/04/19) */
We replied to Ms. [redacted] and forwarded a photo clearly depicting that there was no parking receipt displayed on her dashboard and the photo also shows the original Parking Violation Invoice on her windshield. We will not be refunding the $40...

as Ms. [redacted] did NOT show valid proof of payment and the Violation was placed on her vehicle.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2016/04/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
While PreciseParkLink Edmonton did send me a picture of my car's dashboard for that day, only 2/3 of my dashboard were visible in the image. The display clip that my vehicle has and that was holding the proof of parking on that day is on the drivers side and is not visible in the picture (as the photo was taken from the passenger side of the vehicle). I still believe the parking attendant missed seeing the proof of payment displayed in my car on that day, which is unusual considering that (according to the photo) the parking ticket was placed on same side. What the picture has revealed to me, however, is that the parking attendant clearly did not secure the parking ticket to my windshield well. It is only barely held down under my windshield wiper by a small corner and therefore I am no longer surprised that it was not at my vehicle when I returned to it. Additionally, despite having multiple correspondences with the company before going to the Revdex.com, it was only after I issued a complaint with the Revdex.com that I was provided proof of there ever being a parking ticket left on my vehicle. I am disappointed in how the company handled my case[redacted]
