Precision Allison Transmission

Dear *** ***, Friday, September 29th 2017 This is in response to Complaint ID ***Mr*** is correct in stating that his International flatbed was driven in by one of his employees, once the vehicle was parked it was never attempted to be started again until our
repairs were made on the transmissionWhen the above vehicle was ready to be started and driven after our repairs were made to the transmission it was found that it wouldn't startWe then went into our diagnosis for the reason why, and found that power was being supplied to the appropriate places on the starter solenoid yet the starter would not turnMr*** was then informed of the issue with the starter and sent two of his employees down to our shop where we showed them both on the starter that it was not in working order by bench testing itThe two representatives for Mr*** then took the starter to an electric repair business of their own choice and was also told by that facility that the starter was not in working orderThey obtained a new starter from the repair facility of their choice and brought it back to us, where we installed it and the truck started upIn no way was Mr*** charged by us Precision Allison Transmissions for a starter or the labor to remove and reinstall the starter, this was done FREE of chargeI understand his frustration and that starters don't go bad "overnight" but somehow this one didThe vehicle also had bad batteries which had to be deeply recharged in order for us to even fire it up once the new starter was installed, all which was done in front of one of Mr***'s employeesWe are sorry that he feels distrust with us but we have committed no wrong doingWe look forward to hopefully doing business in the future with Mr*** and his honest and reputable business.
