A two-month remodel turned into a seven-month nightmare In the end, I had a leaking pool that this company claims to have "fixed" except when they FINALLY agreed to send out the original leak detection team, guess what? Nothing had been fixed at all! Horrible communication issues and delays all communicated how little this company cares about its customers I ended up hiring a different company to fix the leaks No offer was ever made by Precision Aquascapes to compensate me for their shoddy workmanship personally, I think they should be paying my water bill after I told them again and again I was losing an inch of water a day! In the end, my remodeled pool has severe circulation issues because of Kevin's pool design Of course, they try to blame my current pool maintenance guy but the pool was fine before the remodel Don't hire these guys

I provided 13 differentdesigns for the [redacted] prior to this and they were unable to make up theirminds about anything. My design agreement calls for 3 different plans....

The$2500.00 was used up long ago. I had about 60 hours into this project, at$125.00 hour you can see that I have more than fulfilled my time trying toplease them and come up with solutions for their project. Below is the outline for their project.   EmailSent to [redacted] 8-4-2014 [redacted], Itwas great meeting with you to discuss your backyard AquaScape Project this pastSaturday. I will design a beautiful pool and backyard renovation for you. Belowyou will find my process and fee information in regards to developing a masterplan for your project and what you can expect. Itemsneeded:BasicSurvey of property – We will do this and it is included in the Design Fee. Thisincludes measuring the entire outside of the home and the property inside theexisting property walls and creating a 3D plan of this for both visual andscale reference. Designscope: Pool,water feature(s) & Covered area and other features with the landscaping andlighting plan. I will focus on the pool project and get that dialed in beforedoing the remainder of the landscape & lighting plan and along with anyadditional hardscapes. Basically the entire backyard environment.  Designprocess (Approximate20+ hours): 1)    Client Introductory Meeting: (1.5 hours) Complete2)    Client pre-design property measurements including pictures:(1.0-1.5hours) Prior to starting the designs, we will need to complete this and inputthem into our Design system and computer protocol.3)    City Regulations research: investigate impermeablesurface area and setbacks equipment in easement and design elements (1.0hour)(Precision)4)   Conceptual design: Your project based upon our discussion at yourhome 8/02/2014 will be created in both 2D and 3D and I will send you copies ofthem for your review and remarks. We can then make whatever changes you wouldlike after your review up to 3 times. (3 hours) each time. 5)    Client Conceptual / Redline Meeting: Meeting to discussconcepts, materials, construction techniques, design direction, adjustments andcost projections (2-3 hours) we already had some cost dialogue on Saturday. 6)    Finalize all design drawings and complete Pre-Constructionplans & ready for permitting when required. (10-12 hours)  MyDesign fee ranges from $1500 to $4500 depending on the scope and complexity ofthe project. I told you I would do this one for $2500.00 which will include adetailed construction cost estimate as well as the renderings, plans &estimate which would be applied to your project if Precision AquaScapes buildsyour pool for you. You have already paid this. (Check # [redacted]) Theinitial design conceptual's will be completed in about 2 - 2 1/2 weeks, aftercompletion of the basic site survey, measurements and pictures. (This will becompleted this week)  Youwill receive several types of plans which are all included with your DesignFee. 3D and 2D renderings, Detailed AutoCAD Construction plans withspecifications. At the end of the day this is really the only way to bid a jobout and get comparison bids if you choose to do so, otherwise for most peopleit is an exercise in frustration.
