gotten to the point that it hasThis reply is being written because of a letter we have received from the Dept of Justice Civil Enforcement Division On or about July I received a phone call from you to discuss window tinting options for your vehicleYou at that time informed me that you think that the front two windows had tint on them and would need to be removed and new tint put on(At time of arrival it was found that ALL windows had tint on them and needed removed)You further indicated to me that the rest of the vehicle needs tinted but you were not sure if you would be doing it at that timeYou asked if I could give you prices for both optionsAs I always do I replied of course I can do that I stated that using our "Lifetime Warranty Metallic film that would cover you for as long as YOU own the vehicle against fading, peeling, and bubbling anywhere in the US" if we JUST removed and Retinted (R&R) the front two windows it would be $170.00, and if we were to do the entire vehicle it would be $You then asked how much a visor strip would be and what the legal limit isI quoted you a price of $and we would use 5% on itAt no time did you ask if there were any specials or if there was another alternative and agreed to set up an appointment which we did for July 8th at 8AM At that appointment you decided to have the entire vehicle done as well as the visor stripwhich would have totaled $according to our phone conversationHowever the tech that performed the work Only charged $For the work completed The next day I received the first email above indicating that you had went online and saw a CHEAPER price, and I immediately on the very next working day tried to call you and discuss this matter and try to resolve it at the earliest possible timeYou chose to reply with the second email stating that you would have someone "look into it" I am not sure as to any further action I could have taken to rectify this situation Our Website advertises a price of $to tint a full vehicle model equivalent to yours and a price of $dollars for the windshield visor for a total of $there is not a set price for removal of film as there are too many factors to list them allA fee to remove film that is already there in same type of vehicle is $which would have brought the total bill to $if fully charged for the complete job using the materials we discussed on the phone Once again I am sorry that this could not have been resolved by a simple phone call Pete O [redacted] Sales/Office ManagerPrecision Auto Glass and Tint 541-525- [redacted] @aol.com Jul (days ago) Hello, I am Before sending an online message I spoke with someone the same day after I left & expressed my concerns & told them I don't get good phone service to please email me thats why you couldn't get in touch with me through the phone besides that as you can see I sent several online messages afterwards about my concerns when it was clear that I wasn't going to get a price difference that was obvious as of now there are several bubbles on all of my windows that has not gone away even with me sitting my car out in the sun I also would like for my windows to be checked with the tint reader to make sure their tinted with the percentage that I asked for

[redacted], this is Pete at Precision Auto Glass and Tint. I am sorry that this has gotten to the point that it has. This reply is being written because of a letter we have received from the Dept of Justice Civil Enforcement Division.
On or about July 6 I received a phone call from you to discuss window tinting options for your vehicle. You at that time informed me that you think that the front two windows had tint on them and would need to be removed and new tint put on. (At time of arrival it was found that ALL windows had tint on them and needed removed). You further indicated to me that the rest of the vehicle needs tinted but you were not sure if you would be doing it at that time. You asked if I could give you prices for both options. As I always do I replied of course I can do that I stated that using our "Lifetime Warranty Metallic film that would cover you for as long as YOU own the vehicle against fading, peeling, and bubbling anywhere in the US" if we JUST removed and Retinted (R&R) the front two windows it would be $170.00, and if we were to do the entire vehicle it would be $370.00. You then asked how much a visor strip would be and what the legal limit is. I quoted you a price of $40.00 and we would use 5% on it. At no time did you ask if there were any specials or if there was another alternative and agreed to set up an appointment which we did for July 8th at 8AM.
At that appointment you decided to have the entire vehicle done as well as the visor strip. which would have totaled $410.00 according to our phone conversation. However the tech that performed the work Only charged $390.00 For the work completed.
The next day I received the first email above indicating that you had went online and saw a CHEAPER price, and I immediately on the very next working day tried to call you and discuss this matter and try to resolve it at the earliest possible time. You chose to reply with the second email stating that you would have someone "look into it".
I am not sure as to any further action I could have taken to rectify this situation.
Our Website advertises a price of $250.00 to tint a full vehicle model equivalent to yours and a price of $60.00 dollars for the windshield visor for a total of $310.00 there is not a set price for removal of film as there are too many factors to list them all. A normal fee to remove film that is already there in same type of vehicle is $100.00 which would have brought the total bill to $410.00 if fully charged for the complete job using the materials we discussed on the phone.
Once again I am sorry that this could not have been resolved by a simple phone call.
