Review: We had Precision Auto Glass replace a windshield on 03/05/2009. We needed another windshield replace for inspection on 08/19/2014. The technition called me immediately after he took the windshield out to advise me of getting body work for rust that was behind my windshield plus the spread of the rust on my roof. The previous installer scratched the paint and applied absolutely no primer and caused the rust on my vehicle. Due to my inspection up this month, I told the installer to go ahead and replace the windshield payed for by State Farm and that I would have to deal with the situation later. I needed my vehicle and I didn't know who was going to be responsible for the repair. I called Precision Auto Glass and [redacted] offered to pay for the repair and I haven't heard from him since. I am requesting that they pay for the repair since they damaged my vehicle and advertise that they take no shortcuts. I am requesting that the [redacted] in [redacted], PA do the body work and if Precision Auto Glass may do the windshield if they desire to do so.Desired Settlement: [redacted] in [redacted], PA do the body work at Precision Auto Glass' expense.

Review: Precision Auto Glass installed a windshield on my Jeep Liberty on 2/10/12. Due to noticeable wind and water entering the vehicle along the windshield they were called twice to repair the issue. After the second attempt at repair, the issue was still ongoing. At that point, they had to replace the windshield again in Spring 2013. Since that time I have had issues with my lights and speedometer. After taking the vehicle to the dealership I have had to pay a repair of $1,393 that was a result of water intrusion from upper area of windshield on drivers side. Per dealership: C/S SPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING, REAR DIFFERENTIAL SENSOR WAS ALREADY REPLACED. PERFORM ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSTIC AND FOUND WATER INSTRUSION ON DRIVERS SIDES COMING FROM UPPER AREA OF COWL BY WINDSHIELD WHICH CORRODED WIRES UNDER DRIVERS SEAT, WATER DAMAGE TO MAIN CONNECTOR TO DASH WHICH SHORTED OUT PCM. ALSO WATER GOT INTO BCM AND SHORTED BCM. REPAIRED 3 WIRES UNDER DRIVERS SEAT, CLEANED CONNECTOR TO MAIN DASH HARNESS AND REPLACED PCM AND BCM. Precision Auto Glass LLC Warranty: Warranty against leakage for as long as you own your vehicle. Your automobile glass is warranted in normal use against leaks and damages due to improper installation. This warranty is valid for as long as you own your car and provides, at no cost to you, all labor and materials to replace the auto glass in proper condition during the warranty period. I have been the sole owner of the vehicle and did not incur water damage of any kind until after the windshield was installed by Precision. I contacted the owner, [redacted], to ask for restitution from him and/or his business insurance. He responded by forwarding links from websites that discuss speedometer issues with Jeep Liberty vehicles. Nothing on the links discussed water damage due to improper installation of a windshield. Mr. [redacted] made the decision to deny my request based solely on the information he read on yahoo answers and other sites with no further investigation.Desired Settlement: I would like for Precision Auto Glass to abide by the warranty they provided when installing the windshield and reimburse me $1,393 for the parts and labor fees my vehicle incurred from water damage due to the improper installation of the windshield.

Review: On June 12, 2015 Precision Glass came to my place of employment and replaced my windshield on my 2013 Ford Edge. I noticed the sound of air near the passenger side of the windshield causing loud road noise. They warranty their work for as long as one owns the vehicle. I noticed the noise and called the very next day (Saturday June 13, 2015) and asked if they could send a technician to fix the issue. The lady who answered the phone scheduled an appt for that Monday (June 15, 2015) in which no one showed. I called to see why no one called or showed - No answer. Left a message - no return phone call. On June 16, 2015 a technician named Mike called my phone to tell me he was at my place of employment however, I was not there that day. He apologized for the inconvenience and kindly rescheduled for June 19 in which no one showed or called. I again called to speak to a manager who was not in the office at that time. I finally spoke with the office manager and explained my frustration as to missed appointments and lack of communication as far as confirming appts and/or rescheduling. She apologized and assured me someone would be at my place of employment June 29, 2015 to repair my windshield. No one called or showed again. I called on June 29th several times with no answer and no option to leave a message (mailbox is full). I have called everyday this week with no answer and no option to leave a message. I have called the technicians cell phone with no answer. I have left messages with him to either call me or have someone from the office call me with no return call. I finally received a text message from Mike July 1, 2015 apologizing for the "confusion" and told me he could meet me at work the next day July 2, 2015. Today is July 2 and again no one has shown and I have received no phone call. I have called his cell phone, text him, and called several office numbers listed via the internet and listed on my receipt. I just want the issue resolved in a professional manner. I noticed on the receipt it states that their warranty to cover damages is void, if not reported within 30 days from the date of install. I want to be clear that the issue was reported the very next day.Desired Settlement: I would like my windshield replaced and assured the problem will not reoccur.
