Delayed Completion of repair, unauthorized repairs, failure to provide invoices, failure to honor estimate, failure to complete repairs.This company demands direct pay from insurance in advance.Did not honor estimate.When vehicle was returned nine days late it was missing tonneau cover, hood does not line up, sensor lights are on regarding tires or are missing,4x4 decals are missing, bed liner does not fit properly and is not bolted down, it also does not match liner on tailgate.Desired SettlementI would like refund for sensors and 4 x 4 decals as well as time to install them.I would like refund for bedliner as it is not adaquate.I would like receipt for shock valued at over 700$.Business Response We are waiting for directive from [redacted] to complete the resolve to this repair. There was a lot of damage with customized suspension involved. We were unable to complete the repairs due to the demands of the customer. Some items have already been credited to the customer and any items that we were not allowed to complete will also be credited once [redacted] completes their assesment. There were no unauthorized repairs to the vehicle that is one of the reasons the bed liner was not installed yet, it would require holes drilled in the bed of the truck that we would not do until we spoke with customer. We do not demand payment in advance, if there is a balance due we expect to be paid at the time the vehicle leaves our facility. We have all items documented and proof on invoices of the expenses. We reported the issues immediately to the [redacted] adjuster and are working together to resolve. I believe it is allmost complete.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Yes I have received some restitution for work not completed.There is no reason any work should of not been completed. This company had the vehicle for well over a month. A week prior to our last promise of completion I was told all parts were in and everything would be ready at the end of the week.That gave them yet another 40 hours of work time. There was no tonnaeu cover,I am still missing sensors and decals, several information stickers,and stone gaurds.He demanded [redacted] more dollars upon our arrival to pick up the vehicle without even mentioning everything that was undone.Had my twenty year old son written out the check before coming outside to ask my opinion, he would of taken the money, and we would of been out of luck. If I had not filed this complaint I would not have received such refund.[redacted] was only involved with "providing directive" because of such a pathetic lack of communication through this entire repair.I reported this business back to [redacted] and asked for help to get some money back so I could finish trying to repair the vehicle some palce else. This vehicle is still not repaired back to it's original condition. I have not been reimbursed for the time I have invested in arguing with this business and I have since come to realize that I was over charged at least double for many more parts other than ones that were disputed at the time of pick up.I have only requested one receipt and yes that was provided, but it showed that he paid double for a part that simply does not cost that much. It was not my fault work was not completed, I picked the vehicle up on the day I was told it was ready, which was the third time it was promised to me, and once again not completed.The reason the bedliner was not screwed down was because it was the wrong bedliner and not the one they were paid to replace. This business refused to install the proper replacement because they were unable to provide a [redacted] liner and said it was too far away to deal with the company that installed them. That was one hour away. They suggested this liner as an alternate which we agreed to in hopes of expediting our repair, but they neglected to mention any drilling of holes.When we tried to reach an agreement with them at the time of delivery they threatened to not return the vehicle at all, unless we paid the extra [redacted] dollars. We were forced to compromise by bartering the cost of the missing tonneau cover and calling the police in order to get our vehicle back.We still paid [redacted] dollars extra and left without things finished. By no means should this company be allowed to diplay an A+ rating.They are sloppy, they take too long, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. Never once in 6 weeks was I called and updated or asked any questions.Every time I asked questions I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable.If a car accident wasn't tragic enough doing business with Precision Autocraft certainly make things much worse.Final Business Response Customer has been reimbursed with a copy of invoice that was requested.
