Precision Contracting Solutions LP Reviews (2)

August 10, 2015Dear [redacted],Thank you for your email dated July 28, 2015 wherein you outlined a recent complaint that was filed with your office by [redacted] at the above-referenced address on July 9· 2015. I wanted to take this opportunity to respond to the complaint and summarize Precision's...

efforts that have been performed to date to resolve the matter with [redacted].As you may know, Precision Contracting Solutions has been an Accredited Business with the Revdex.com for many years and carries an "A+" grade with the Revdex.com. We deeply value and respect the mission of the Revdex.com in the consumer services industry, and as such we take our A+ grade very seriously in the market place. Having said that, as soon as I became aware that there were outstanding issues on the [redacted] project and that a complaint had been filed with your office, I immediately contacted [redacted] and her daughter, [redacted]- who was the primary point of contact for the project- to determine what the issues were and what needed to be done to resolve the matter.Despite assurances from my staff over a year ago that the final punch list had been completed and having not heard from the [redacted]s since the prior year, I concluded that the [redacted] project had been finished. However, after meeting with [redacted] and [redacted] at the project site on July 23rd of this year, it quickly became apparent that Precision had in fact not completed a brief punch out list at the end of the project. I am the owner of Precision Contracting Solutions and I alone bear the responsibility for the communication· breakdown that occurred which allowed the work to go unfinished. Had I known that the work had yet to be completed, I would have taken immediate steps to resolve the matter prior to [redacted] contacting your office. I was completely caught by surprise to learn that the project had not been finished to [redacted]'s satisfaction and, as such, I immediately dropped everything and directed all of Precision's resources into immediately finishing all of the outstanding work with no further delay.During my meeting with the [redacted]s on July 23rd, we walked through the entire job and created a final, revised punch list of all of the outstanding work that they would like to see completed. All of the work identified in the new punch list was completed by Precision over the next several days; as well several items that were not in the scope of the contract were also completed as a show of good faith. Rather than debate with the [redacted]s as to whether certain items were in the contract, Precision simply performed the work requested with no questions asked.Last week, on August 6th, I met with [redacted] and [redacted] at the house to walk the job through one final time to review all of the work that had been completed by Precision over the last week to determine if it was satisfactorily completed and they agreed that it had been. After walking the job together, we identified three additional small items that needed to be addressed and have since completed those items. At this time, it is my understanding that both [redacted] and her daughter, [redacted], are pleased with the completion of the work and are very desirous that this matter not affect my A+ grade with the Revdex.com.Mistakes sometimes happen and I am tremendously regretful that this matter was not successfully resolved sooner and that it required the attention of the Revdex.com. I would never jeopardize Precision's A+ rating with the Revdex.com, nor would I risk harming its stellar reputation in the DC marketplace by letting ANY issue go unresolved. Simply put, there was never any ill-will or bad faith on the part of Precision to finish the project, but rather a communication breakdown that hindered the job's ultimate completion. I take full responsibility for that breakdown and am forever grateful to the [redacted]s for giving me an opportunity to fully rectify the situation. After concluding my August 6th meeting with [redacted] and [redacted] they expressed to me that they were satisfied with the work and had stated that they would support the Revdex.com in closing the complaint with no adverse effect on Precision's A+ grade. It is my sincere and humble hope that your office comes to the same conclusion.Respectfully,Derrick S.Owner

I had a very pleasant experience with Derrick at Precision. He was very knowledgable and helpful in helping me decide the best way to approach the repair that I needed. Derrick was on-time, and I would definitely recommended his services to someone else.
