Review: My daughters have danced with this studio for five years! After dealing with harassment, gossip, and slander both to my children and myself and my wife we decided to have our children try and move to another dance center after the season. The information was given to the studio owner and with no notice we received a letter in the mail kicking my children out of their studio, only three weeks before their competition. The studio has not replied, to phone calls, emails or letters. The studio has not released costumes we paid for or deposits paid to us for costumes we have not received. We also paid for solos and duos that were not able to be performed at this competition and the hundreds of dollars on tuition to learn these competition and recital dances they will never be able to perform.The studio owner has shared personal information and emails have been marked confidential and asked not to be shared to several staff members whom some have shared with parents of the studio. My wife even witnessed a staff member verbally attack a minor who attended their recital after she left the studio. This studio is very unprofessional as we are not the first family they have done this too. The front desk staff has personally spoken about confidential information to other parents and students. . I was most recently informed that a member of the staff was still slandering my wife to parents and staff at the studio. Not only this but as the front desk was left unmanned as it usually is a registered sex offender was allowed to enter the studio and remain in the bathroom for over an hour and attempting to look under stalls. Police were not called for 30-40 min after the perp was discovered in the bathroom and asked to leave. The owner did not come down to the studio and never notified parents of the details.This is not a family friendly or safe environment and they will do the same thing to your family!Desired Settlement: If anything I would like the costs of my children's solos and duos refunded as well as our costume costs and partial tuition. I would also like a written letter of apology to my children and for my family to stop being slandered.

To Whom It May Concern,

I would first like to say that I appreciate the Revdex.com is allowing me the opportunity to respond to a customer complaint before deciding how said complaint will affect my business. I can honestly say that this is only my second complaint in 10 years of owning a business, and both complaints were from disgruntled customers who either left or were asked to leave my studio due to contract violations.

Before I respond to the specific complaints the [redacted] family filed with the Revdex.com on 6/19/14, I feel it is necessary to provide some background information regarding my dealings with this family. The [redacted] family attended my dance studio for 5 years. During those 5 years, Mrs. [redacted] was often at the center of studio drama as she perpetuated most of it With any business, there will always be drama. I looked the other way for many years because I cared for her three daughters. However, as time progressed, her gossip and drama became overwhelming and I had many complaints from studio parents as well as staff members. In fact, one family had several issues with Mrs. [redacted], including receiving harassing messages, and ultimately decided to leave the studio in June of 2010. Additionally, there were several contract violations related to studio gossip, delinquent payments, and so forth.

On several occasions Mrs. [redacted] presented issues to me regarding her children, classes, other people's children, even issues that occurred outside of my business. I offered several times to meet and discuss these issues with her and she usually came up with excuses as to why she could not or did not want to meet At times her emails and text messages became overbearing and were to the point that I and my staff felt harassed. I decided to start a file of her messages and emails as there were so many. I have selected a few representative text and email messages from Mrs. [redacted] and her family to give you an example of what I have received from them over the years (See Attachment #1)_

In late July of 2013, Mrs. [redacted] sent me numerous text and email messages with concerns about conflicts with the class schedule and her daughters' class placements, and also mentioned that there is clear favoritism at my studio (See Attachment #2). I requested a personal meeting with Mrs. [redacted] to discuss her concerns, and she refused to meet with me (see email from Mrs. [redacted] dated July 25'" at 11:07 am in Attachment #2). Due to the sheer number and nature of her dissatisfied emails, I informed Mrs. [redacted] that a personal meeting with me was necessary in order for her family to continue at my studio. I set a meeting date of July 3151, 2013, for which Mrs. [redacted] failed to appear_ Therefore, I notified Mrs. [redacted] via Certified Mail that her daughters were not allowed to return for the upcoming dance season (See Attachment #3). This was a very difficult decision for me as she has 3 very sweet and talented daughters who all danced at my studio _ As expected, it did not go well and I received

several emails and messages from her and her oldest daughter, [redacted]. I eventually had to block her email and phone number.

On August 3, 2013, Mrs. [redacted] and her daughter came to the studio just before our Open House started, begging to return to the studio. [redacted] felt that they were asked to leave the

studio because of something she did, and this was not the case (see text message from [redacted] in Attachment #1). I did not want the girls to think that it was their fault Mrs. [redacted] had offered to
