Review: Went to dentist for a initial exam and cleaning. My insurance was checked and I was told there would be no charge. Two months after the appointment, I received a bill. [redacted] charges $315 dollars for a initial visit and cleaning. The preauthorized amount she agreed to with my insurance was $255. She wanted me to pay the difference. My insurance said that I am not responsible to pay the difference. [redacted] feels differently and sent me to collections. I thought collections would be a fair process but it is not. They work for the dentist. Not the customer. I paid the difference and am doing my best to get the word out about this unethical dentist.Desired Settlement: Refund and change of business practice.
