I received the copy of the complaint letter on 11/9/via USPS mailThe letter stated that the Revdex.com had sent Precision a copy of the complaint submitted 10/3/17, however, the first time became aware ofthis letter is when received a hard copy in the mail last week, hence the reason why a response
letter to this complaint was not submitted to the Revdex.com within the two week time frame requested by the Revdex.com.Please allow this letter to serve as Precision's response to Revdex.com Complaint ***.The complaint is from a patient stating that they received a bill from Precision for a drug test and that the blood test was not wanted or authorized by the patientThe patient also states that he sent several emails to the company, all of which he says were ignoredThe patient also said that "these tests are normally free for disabled people like me."Upon further investigation, Precision did in fact perform testing on this Patient's urine sample (not blood, as stated in the complaint)The testing was billed according to what the Patient's treating provider ordered, and the majority of the charges were covered by the Patient's insurance, leaving a patient balance of $Precision attempted to contact the Patient on 9/27/to advise of the remaining balance, but no phone number was available.Precision does not offer free testing to any patients or healthcare providersIf a patient is indigent and can show proof of financial hardship, Precision's Billing Department will work with the patient to help them get their bill paidHowever, the patient must reach out to Precision in order to do so.Precision's Billing Department keeps detailed records within the billing System software, and adds notes regarding any patient encounters - i.ephone calls and emails - and has no record of this Patient ever reaching out to Precision via phone or email regarding their billWhile the patient stated that they emailed Precision several times, I did not see an email address that they referencedIf that information is available I'd like to investigate further.Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.Regards,
