I was looking on the Revdex.com website for reviews on Precision Door of StLouis *** ***
I can tell you from personal experience that their statement is not true I called for a qoute on a new set of rollers
and nothing was said about any additional costs until I specifically asked is there any service call charge in addition to the $I was quoted, they said they didn't know but would ask someoneNo one was available so I said I would call back later I called back the following day and she still could not tell me if there was a
service charge but this time she found someone who said yes So my total cost would be $plus $for a total of $for a set of new rollers Since I can buy a full set of rollers myself for $50, I decided not to
have them do the work If they always tell customers about the $service charge why doesn't the person answering the phone who gave me a quote appear to know that? I'm glad I read the Revdex.com review first

I highly recommend Precision Door of StLouis based on:
- I called on a Sunday morning at a.mand received a quote over the phone for the repair Others I called wouldn't even give me a range I understood the price may vary depending on the actual work being done and parts needed
- I was given a noon to p.mservice window the same day and there was no extra charge for a Sunday service call I received a call at noon from the tech to let me know he would arrive in minutes
- The tech (***) did a thorough inspection Showed me the wobble in the very worn wheel bearings in addition to the obvious broken torsion spring He explained my options, completed the repairs quickly, adjusted the door, tested everything including my garage door opener, and demonstrated the now working and nicely aligned garage door He even did a quick fix on my garage door opener light that wasn't working (no charge)
- The price was fair I did some checking online before the work started and had an idea of the industry standard charges for parts and labor
Overall, the customer service and repair work were excellent

I was totally satisfied with the service I got from the tech that Precision Door sent out to my homeHe was very professional showing me the old broken springs that needed to be replaced and two different options for replacementHe had the job finished in a half hour and even tightened up the chain on the motor driveWould recommend Josh anytime you need anything done to your garage door

We did a poor job of communicating with the customer and we apologize if it appeared that we were rude.  In this unusual situation, as the customer noted, the technician should have charged only $49.  It is our normal policy to charge a minimum $79 fee if we fix a non-operating door, but...

in this unusual situation it would have been more appropriate to charge only $49 given the minimal effort required.Within an hour of her phone call with our general manager on August 3rd, we called back the customer and offered a full refund of $79 (we mailed a check on Friday Aug 4th.  During this follow-up phone call we were under the impression that she was fully satisfied with the outcome.  We also would like to add that our follow-up call and offer for full refund occurred prior to our being made aware of this post on the Revdex.com website.

[redacted] is great! He installed the garage door we purchased from Precision Door. He didn't mind that I was in and out of the garage as he worked, and he answered all the questions I asked him. He spent a lot of time after he was done explaining how I can maintain the garage door, and all the new parts, and our garage door opener too. He cleaned up before leaving, I couldn't be happier! Great customer service and workmanship. Thank you!

called us at 3:50pm on Sunday afternoon and our technician arrived at 6:45pm.  ·         Our technician presented the customer with three options ranging from less expensive to more expensive and she selected the highest value option; ·         We don’t apologize for charging $189 to reset her door – this procedure takes skill and can be dangerous, regardless of how efficiently this is accomplished by our technicians; ·         We have called the customer on four different occasions since the job was completed and have left two voicemails, but have not yet received a call-back.   We know that misunderstandings will occur in our business, and we will always make a sincere attempt to satisfy the customer.
