Good afternoon,   I have received a letter via USPS mail about this consumer complaint however we have not received a phone call nor visit from the consumer, [redacted] (she lives local). Furthermore, at the arrival of [redacted] truck (2003 dodge ram) it was taken to our offsite...

storage (1.5 mile away, due to no parking) meanwhile the shop driver accidentally scraped a pole (one side of the vehicle, photos were provided immediately and everything was documented.) the scrape was immediately and professionally repaired by a body shop and paid by PRECISION ENGINES.   However upon [redacted] arrival to pick up the truck upon completion of the engine rebuild, [redacted] began screaming about other minimal, barely visible scratches on the other side of her 2003 dodge ram and demanded she expected those repaired as well. I mentioned to [redacted] the truck was 12 years old and re-assured those scratches were not caused by the shop. (PRECISION ENGINES)  [redacted] continued screaming, yelling, threatning and making my employees and myself feel uncomfortable enough we had to call the police for mediation. Upon the police officers arrival he mentioned the truck looked great for being 12 years old and that she cannot just forcefully take the truck without paying the total due bill for the engine rebuild the shop did (PRECISION ENGINES). [redacted] finally paid the total and left with her truck 2003 dodge ram. It was very hard working with [redacted] as I have never experienced a customer acting out in the manner she did. Once more, we have not received one phone call, or voicemail to the shop (PRECISION ENGINES) phone number.   Thank you, Precision Engines=

I am rejecting this response because:
I have read the response, and Precision Engines is not telling the whole truth, nor does the response address the facilities refusal to take care of ENGINE issues that I have reported to them.Yes, Precision Engines drove my truck off site (initially without my knowledge or consent, until I confronted them about this, and they explained that they had no other place to park the vehicle during closed hours). Yes, the driver damaged my truck.  There were DENTS on EACH side of the truck (The driver side, which extended and the rear, and the RIGHT bumper area). They did repair the dents on both sides, but did not take care of the scratches that occurred during the incident(s). The written agreement that I have, was that they were to completely repair my truck, prior to me making any payments for the engine work. When I came to pick up my truck, I saw that the dents were repaired. The gas cover was obviously not replaced, but bent "semi strait", and I was not satisfied with that either. Me and the "Owner" (or the man who said that he was the owner) got into a verbal confrontation, because he did not repair my vehicle back to the condition it was in, prior to being damaged by them. I was yelling at him, and very angry, as to be expected. I told him I was calling the police, and he said that he would call his father (whom he said was his partner), and asked if I could hold off on calling the police, if his father could help resolve the issue.  I agreed.  His father never came. The police came. Obviously, he deceptively called the police himself, before I could get the opportunity to do so. When the police arrived, he did say that my truck looked good for being a 2003. His comment was irrelevant, since he had never seen my truck prior to the damage. Which the cop acknowledged.  Not to mention, the written agreement clearly says the LEFT and RIGHT side of the truck were to be repaired. The officer advised me to take them to civil court, and ordered them to give me proof of their driving insurance, and a copy of his drivers license. Like I mentioned, they only repaired the dents. They excluded all the scratches they caused, so yes, I was extremely angry that they refused to repair my truck appropriately. Now, to the main reason for this complaint.... because of this altercation, and Precision Engines attitude toward me, they will not honor the warranty of the ENGINE work. As they stated in their response, "I am the most difficult client they have had to work with", which is due to the negligent manner in which my truck was wrecked, when it was suppose to be having engine work. This cause me to loose several weeks worth of income, since this truck is my work truck. Obviously, they are not willing to help, when my engine has had issues. I have emails of my communication with them. I recently called, because I have a rear seal leak. All the seals were supposedly replaced by them, during the engine rebuild, which is also written on the receipt.  The total cost of the engine rebuild was paid to them. (They admitted this in their response) Therefore, the warranty should be honored. I am requesting a refund, due to the fact that I have had several issues with the engine since they worked on it, and the repairs are constantly causing me money, when the repairs should be done by them, for free.  I was told, in an email, for me to take the truck to someone else.I live approximately 45 minutes drive from Precision Engines. It is in another county, but not too far, which is why I chose them to begin with. I have not arrived to their facility, without first speaking to them, because of the obviously volatile relationship.  I have called. I have also called the cell number that I was communicating with them.  If I call them, and they are not willing to assist my needs, then why would I go all the way there? That would be pointless. At this point, the trust is also lost. [redacted]
