Review: From day one of Premier Fence building a fence in my back yard there were red flags. The project manager asked what I wanted in regards to the fence but each time followed that up by saying "If you want me to do THAT, I can, but if I do it THIS way I can do this faster and get out of here and go home more quickly". I heard that a few times. They put the pedestrian gate on backwards, put the hinges of the gate on one of the boards instead of the post so the wood piece was bowing within 24 hours. They insisted the gate could only open from inside, as the grade of my yard in front of it was too high. They would not take a shovel and just dig up the grade/ dirt to make the gate open as it should (so my husband took a shovel and with two scoops fixed the grade, took about 1 minute to do). All the pieces in each panel were cut a different size and weren't put up for a clean even look, not all boards were nailed in all the way, there were nails sticking out all over place. Most fence companies use decking screws instead of nails, including others I spoke to personally. The wood pieces on each panel were put up with big gaps between them, several pieces of wood they used were damaged, chewed out, and they did not secure the caps on the posts. We lifted up each cap to find they put random objects under the caps to make them all look level/ same height on the post. They used piles of dirt, rocks, pieces of wood under the caps and did not secure them. When we complained to the company about the work the owner came back to fix some of things, but told me "there are large gaps between the boards but there is nothing I can do about that" and was very short, curt, rude and unconcerned about his customer. We have had to have someone else come out to do repairs several times since the fence was put up because Premier refuses to do anything.Desired Settlement: This was a very expensive fence and the company's lack of caring is unprofessional. I would like a refund of at least $1000. Not to mention being willing to repair it's own mistakes.
