Precision Franchising Reviews (2)

Review: I spoke with Terry Manager Precision Tune on 09/30/2014 concerning the noise from the left rear of my 2007 ford focus that was service at his location [redacted], NC [redacted] on 09/02/2014. I selected the wheel alignment package, Tire Rotation & Balance and per your technician I needed shocks on both right and left rear area which I approved. Nearly two weeks after, I began to hear a noise sound as if it was coming from the back rear left where my shocks were replaced.

I decided to have the Precision tune in [redacted], GA look at my car to see if there was a problem with the new shocks. I spoke to Larry( Manager) Precision Tune in [redacted] GA on 09/29/2014 he told me to come in so he could check the noise. He put my car on the lift and all four tires were removed and he said it was the left/rear brake caliper bolt he said he needed to charge me $47.00 to look at something else. I became suspicious since he had already diagnosed the problem. I decided to take my car to [redacted] in [redacted], GA on 09/30/2014. I was advised by tech there was no left rear brake caliper then tech stated the left rear shock was loose or damaged.

I decided to call Terry (Manager) Precision Tune [redacted] NC since I was getting the runaround I ask that my car be fixed for free since I had no issues with a clunking noise prior to having work done on 09/02/2014 in [redacted] NC. I requested to have the left shock replaced since the noise was getting louder and it felt as if something was broken or lose underneath the car. He offered to have the left shocked replace "free of charge" on 10/01/2014 at the Precision tune in [redacted] GA. I decided not to go due to Larry wanting to charge me the $47.00 dollars which told me he was not an honest person.

Instead on 10/01/2014 I decided to get a third opinion and had taken my car to [redacted] in [redacted], GA the Technician showed me one of the front left brake caliper bolt was missing (See the attached receipt full description). The same bolt Larry (Manager) of Precision Tune in [redacted], GA lied to me about stating it was on the left rear. I called Terry back to left him know my car was properly fixed by [redacted] and I want a full refund. Steve at the [redacted] location said Terry was not in and was working on this issue. Steve then ask me who replaced my brakes he wanted to blame it on another company. I called Precision Tune in [redacted] NC where I had most of my work done. I spoke to Jean and he said they replaced the rotors and brakes in 05/2011. I called Steve back to give him this information and he said he spoke to Terry and Terry said nothing can be done due to brakes/rotors were out of warranty. I explain him this has nothing to do with warranty my car was working fine until I had services on done 09/02/2014. I am requesting a full refund of $370.44 I paid [redacted] for parts and labor because Precision Tune did not properly replace the bolts thus causing damage to my car and I want to be refunded the $366.61 I paid to have my car serviced in [redacted], NC my car was not serviced properly.

Larry the Manager from Precision Tune in [redacted] GA knew as well as the [redacted], NC Technician that one of the bolts were missing and the other was not properly secured which would eventually cause damage to my car and/or could have cause me to have a serious accident due to the Technician’s incompetents and Larry’s dishonesty.

I have been a customer of Precision Tune in NC for nearly seven years I trusted this company would do the right thing the first time but the work I received is incomprehensible. They made a conscience decision to try and deceive me with no regard for my well being.Desired Settlement: To refund me for work not properly performed.

Review: the policies of the was that any problems found [redacted] be addressed before any work [redacted] be done. there were know problem found on my car when I arrived at the precision tune 6800 [redacted] ga for an oil change. they damaged my car. when they gave me the car they didn't say there was any problem, but the car said no oil pressure and all of the oil was on the ground within 3minites. I called the corporate office and they said a district manager [redacted] call me back. when I didn't her from anyone I called back. the they told me that precision was a francise therefore they had nothing to do with it. That means as a comsumer I naturally assume by the name that I cauld trust them and there policies. I find that I have been mislead by precision. If I had known that was no a real precision tune I [redacted] have gone somewhere else. They did more than 1000 dollars in damage. now cororate say they have nothing to do with it. know one even offered a refund for the oil change. They need to change the store policies if they're not going to honor them.

and Pay for the damagesDesired Settlement: Pay for the damages
