Review: I called these guys and they told me the manufacturer of my garage door went out of business ([redacted]). They also said that they can have the technician here and conpletely convert my system to a different one and sell me the parts. I made the appointment.I called [redacted] and found out they have not gone out of business. I read some reviews on Google [redacted] and it seems like they do this pretty often. This tactics are deceiving and borderline illegal. This company should not have an A+ rating.Desired Settlement: Change their A+ rating to F

Precision Door Service of Pittsburgh is writing you in response to the claim of Mr. [redacted] # ([redacted]).

1. Precision Door Service of Pittsburgh scheduled an appointment at the home of [redacted] on July 2nd, 2013 between the hours of 4 and 6 pm. The customer had a broken garage door and requested service.

2. Mr. [redacted] called back shortly after making said appointment and was upset and cancelled the call due to the fact he was told, incorrectly, by a customer service rep that [redacted] was out of business.

3. Precision Door does not carry [redacted] products due to lack of quality and chooses to completely change the system when it breaks. Precision does admit it gave the customer the wrong information due to a newer employee giving false information to the customer.

4. Precision Door would like to apologize to the customer for the confusion and reassure him that it is not a standard practice to give customers false information. It was in fact an isolated incident.
