I became familiar with this company when they came door to door though my neighborhood requesting business Since that time over years ago, I have received numerous calls, probably at least or 12, soliciting business, despite my repeated emphatic requests that they not call me any more They do not respect these requests, so why should I think they would honor other agreements I would never do business with such an organization!

In response to consumer complaint # [redacted] We have replaced the customer's inverter, and their solar system is fully functionalWe have completed the customer service requested Thank you, [redacted] Precision General Contracting

This company makes persistent telemarketing calls using bogus and fraudulent caller ID numbers and continues to do so despite my insistence that they stop doing soI have reported these calls to the Do Not Call Registry to no availIt is their business model to lie to get your business, so they will, of course, lie as a matter of course in their business What is most alarming about this, is the fact that they know my name, address and telephone number (none of which appears together anywhere due to the fact of my employment except for voter registration, so they're violating that law, too) Never do business with these people

We have been assisting the [redacted] family with their PowerOne warranty claim. We initiated the warranty claim with PowerOne, on the customers behalf, once the customer let us know their inverter was not working properly. We installed the new inverter as soon as it was delivered by... PowerOne. We are now waiting for the second replacement inverter, as soon as we receive it, we will install it for the customer. We are doing everything possible on our end to assist the customer with their warranty claim with PowerOne.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Precision General has not done any of the legwork with regard to this problem They have not spoken to us at all or returned any e-mails Nor have they provided us with ANY information or alternative plan to get us up and running They are installing new solar panels on houses now and could very easily provide us a replacement for the SECOND failed inverter from their supply and then return our failed one This has not been offered We had to wait over two months the first time the inverter failed and are now on week four of paying electric AND our solar loan due to a second failure (We have been without solar since June 15, This is the entire summer!) In addition we are not storing power for the winter and expect to be paying a large bill then We have requested a new inverter from Precision General AND Power and have not received a response or a call/email with regard to a ship date

We repaired the leaks in their windows & doorWe have tried to reach the customer to confirm they are satisfied, however they have not returned our calls

We entered into an agreement with Precision General Contracting to provide HVAC, tankless water heater, upgraded electrical panel and solar. This was agreed to in September. They installed the HVAC real fast. The HVAC installer took a few short cuts. He left with the job unfinished and not working properly. When he left he said he would come back and do some minor wood work to the inside cabinet where the furnace was placed. When I got home the furnace did not work at all and had some blinking red lights that were some sort of error message. The AC unit outside was left loose and not secured to anything. We called our sales guy [redacted] Cook and he got the HVAC installer out to our house the next day to fix the furnace issue. I asked the HVAC installer for a business card and he said he didn't have any. I thought this was weird and now I know why. He never showed up to finish the wood work. He also left scrap pieces of wood and electrical parts(nails and screws) in the front and back yards. We then didn't hear anything for the next few weeks. We had to call the office to check on when they were going to do the other stuff on the list. The girl that answered the phone was not nice and flighty. She didn't seem to know or want to do anything. We then called [redacted] again and let him know. He said he would have the tankless water heater guy come out. This guy was great. We had no issues with his work. Everything is working great and he cleaned up after himself. We then asked [redacted] about the status of our solar and electrical panel install. He had the office call us to set up a "fake" appointment for the solar install. Three days before the appointment date, the office called to cancel. She did not give a reason why and said she had no idea when they would be calling us to reschedule. This company will tell you things to pacify your concerns. We did figure out that they flat out lied to us at least once.
Update: Our solar install finally took place on the 19th of January. We started the process on September 17, 2014. At that time we were told That the work would diffidently would be done by the end of the year. "No worries" Well that didn't happen. A few days after the install we got a call from [redacted] asking why we didn't sign the final paper work. I told him they were not done. He had no idea what still needed to be completed. He is the general contractor. Shouldn't he know we are not done! I had to tell him what work we still needed.
When we entered into this agreement we used a "general contractor" because we didn't want to deal with making appoints and making sure the work was done properly. Both my wife and I work full time and have 2 small kids. We wanted someone to coordinate the entire project. Precision general contracting did not do that. I will post again when the process is finished.
