We paid for a home inspection and was given a report that helped us to decide to purchase the homeWithin a month we found problems that should have been noticed via the inspectionsClearly visible asbestos (very obvious to a trained inspector) in the closet and the ventsThere were issues with the gas as well as the ACThere were other problems but these would not have been detected by a home inspection of the type we paid forHowever the asbestos and gas leak were and should have been detectedif we had known about them than we would have negotiated these problems before purchaseNo one would willingly move two small children into a home with a gas leak and asbestos without trying to get them fixed and removed! Have tried to contact the inspector and he just ignores usIncredibly disappointed and shocked at his work and lack of response/caring
