Review: Precision Marine has failed to fix my boat motors and have been avoiding the issue.

on march 18, we took in two motors to get the started, impeller and seals. after trying to get them to fix the motors we discovered that they where not working on them. I spoke to the mechanic and his answer on why the motors where not ready was "because the boat is too old and I cant find the parts". I asked if he had looked at the boat before he asked for $624 and his answer was yes I did, but I am waiting on the parts. after waiting for 7 months we decided to call u guys. we just went and got the boat off their lot because they threaten to start charging storage. the motor we got back from them it was all in pieces. we took one of the motors to a different shop and they informed us that the boat didn't get any work done. Desired Settlement: I would like you guys to help us get this matter fixed. we feel like they have taken full advantage of us and they do not feel any guilt or that they are in the wrong. The reason why we have reached out to you guys is because we feel like we are being robed. Not only did they take our money and didn't fix our motor, but they have taken our free time. I am now stuck short of those $624 and have to come up with more money so I can go to a different shop and get the motor fixed. thank you for your time.

Customer brought in a non running obsolete outboard motor, and an older trolling motor. We had to replace the starter motor to get the one motor running. We changed the lower unit oil and the impeller. Unit ran in our tank. Trolling motor ran. We serviced the lower unit oil and impeller. Customer picked up boat, tried it and had additional problems. We checked the work we did that he paid for, it was correct. Customer wanted us to fix everything else he had found wrong once he water tested it for free. We don't work for free, sorry. Items fixed were right, other items he wanted fixed were not our responsibility..
