The Cajun food tour was amazingIn our group we had locals and out of townersThe out of towners loved that they got to try and learn about the culture, food(s), and history of the Lafayette areaThe locals loved that they got to explore new restaurants and restaurants they've been toThey were introduced to new things on the menu at a restaurant they've been to a million times If your a local or an out of towner this tour is great and Kid friendly:) PS: Lots of food which is a plus Thank you Marie for a great experienceMost definitely will come back for another tour and recommend you to all
Marie has the knowledge and a talent for importing knowledge of the food and area history in an interesting and entertaining way which adds to the fun and enjoyment of the food and the tour Our group included included ages from senior citizens down to college students and a preschooler and everyone had a good time!!! We are visitors to the area, but the group was a mix of visitors and locals We all learned something new, enjoyed the food, and had a good time Looking forward to taking this tour again as we visited six establishments, but they have approxestablishments at this time included in the pool of possibilities for the tour This tour can be repeated several times and still include new experiences

Marie does a great job of explaining about the Cajun people, their culture and food. Her van is decorated like a living room to make you feel at home. We visited 6 places and at each the food was excellent and plentiful. She offers bottled water and you have the option to buy alcoholic beverages at some of the establishments(this was the morning tour). This was my first food tour and we had so much fun. I'm now hooked! My husband had a business meeting and had to leave after the 4th stop and Marie was very accommodating and dropped him off at our hotel.
I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! They do not charge you until after your booking is confirmed (there must be a minimum number of people booking before the tour can be confirmed). The tour guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and welcoming. I recommend this tour to anyone in the Lafayette area.
