detail the completesituationMr***'s Ashely Furniture sofa did come to him damaged but also with a fullmanufacturer's warrantyThat warranty states that it is the manufacturer's choice of repairing orreplacing any damage or defectAshley RARELY replaces a piece of furnitureInstead they send us a newpiece, in this case, a new cover, and we have a professional repair person do the repair.When the ***'s told us about the damage, we explained that we would contact Ashley Furnitureand that they would send us a new cover and we would get the cover replaced as soon as possibleHereadily supplied us with the pictures we needed to show the damage and appeared ok with the process ..We sent the repairman out and he replaced the coverHe did not do a good job to satisfy the ***sand they contacted us and I apologized that the repair was not done proper the first timeI tried toexplain to him that he needed to let me do the repair again before I could request a replacementWhenhe initially called he was determined and demanded a replacement and would not listen to what Ineeded to do to help satisfy himI again tried to explain to him that I HAD to attempt the repair againand if my repairman could not get it done properly that he would document the reason and I wouldcontact Ashley Furniture and attempt to get a replacement sofa.Again, I also explained that the warranty was the "manufacturer's choice to fix or replace" and we hadno control over that decisionHe tried to tell me that that was not the way the industry ran and I tried toexplain to him that Ashley, being the largest furniture maker in North America, did indeed run theirbusiness that way as well as every other manufacturer that we represent.He finally agreed to let the repair be done again, at which time we both would re-evaluate the sofa'sappearanceThe second repair was made timely and the ***s told the repairman that they werehappy with the sofaMy repairman also took several photos of the repaired sofa and it did look like new.Since Mr*** said he liked how the repair turned out, I am surprised to see this complaint, but feelwe have done all we can and consider the matter closed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], the issue still has not been resolved, The company still has not provided me with a drawer after a month of attempting to receive the drawer. Not once has the...

company attempted to contact me to update me on the status of the item.  When I called Midwest Wholesale to check the status of the item, the owner was rude and kept interrupting me and he literally told me I was" lying" about the statements he made.  He also spoke to me in a condescending manner when I  inquired about the drawer. I even had my father call about the issue because i'm a young women and felt as if they were using the fact that I was young and a women to take advantage of me. When my father called to attempt to resolve the issue, he said that one of the sales reps. said that the "repairman came to my home but I would not let him in" This is yet another false statement that Midwest wholesale furniture will not take accountability for.  The statement is completely false based off my work schedule, and I never authorized a repairman to come out to my home simply because the owner falsely stated that the repairman would come directly from Ashley's furniture. At this point all I would like is my items to be repaired before I take further action for the inconvenience.
