I came to the Revdex.com in search of a garage door company and chose Precision over [redacted] because of the salesman, FrankHe provided information during the sales pitch (warranty, wind strength, etc.) that was not provided by ***The new garage door & framing was installed on 11/6/I came home to couple of problems and notified PrecisionChris came out on 11/11/to review the problems and sent Luke out on 11/14/to repair the problemsChris, Kate & Luke were courteous and handle my situation with excellent customer service & professionalismI now have a great new garage door, 2xpressure treated wood framing and no fear of it falling on the vehiclesI would highly recommend them for your garage door installation

Beware of excessive part replacement at inflated prices We had Precision Garage Doors come out to replace the weather stripping on the bottom of our garage door It was our first time using this company Meanwhile my elderly mother had complained to me about her garage door making noise when raising or lowering the door We pay for the maintenance of her home so we made an appointment for the technician to check out her garage door My husband mistakenly told the tech it was not necessary to call him before completing the repair because he thought it would be a minor repair - as the door was operating - big mistake After presenting my mother with a long list of needed replacement parts totaling almost $the tech told her it was not necessary to get our approval so she allowed him to begin the repairs Meanwhile she decided she better give us a call to relay the information at which time my husband called and told the tech to leave the repairs undone The tech said he would have to leave the door inoperable as he had already removed parts We could not leave her unable to operate her door
We went over there and listened to the tech's sales pitch and told him we had called another company to get pricing on the repairs being made by him and they were quite a bit lower priced His defense was that he uses superior parts and that her door is heavy duty I would not be surprised if the techs are compensated according to the work performed Unfortunately, the repairs were almost completed and my mom felt so bad already - we didn't want to further embarrass her so we were left feeling taken advantage of with repairs totaling almost the cost of a replacement door I would be extremely careful using this company especially if they are providing service to elderly family members or friends

I had a lousy experience with this company. I had to call 3 times to have a pulley replaced. I had someone come up on November 15, 2016 to address a needed repair. I paid $149.00 to have this repair done. The funds were taken from my account on November 22, 2016. A week later. Today is December 7, 2016 and I finally got a date to have it fixed. I recieved unnecessary runaround. I did mention their outrageous fees that were not applied to the repairs if I had them do the repairs. I was charged the service fees, labor fees, and part costs. Once I mentioned this to the company that I truly felt that they were double dipping on the cost, I wasn't being treated nicely.

I just had my replacement garage door installed with Precision Overhead Garage Door of Clearwater, Florida today, and I couldn't be happier.

The company is wonderful. Their staff friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Michelle, the salesperson, came out on Monday. She measured, and gave me a very reasonable quote for a hurricane impact 2 car garage door replacement. I was blown away when she said I can have it installed by Wednesday (in 2 days)!

Ross came out for the install today. He, like Michelle, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Made sure all my questions were answered, and that I understood what the job entailed.

Ross went over the whole installation process with me before he got started. He took out my old garage door as well as all my old tracks and materials. I couldn't believe the speed with which he worked. He completed everything in about 2 hours. The job was very professionally done, clean and through. He tested it several times to make sure everything worked as should be.

I would highly recommend anyone looking for a garage door to use Precision. They are a testament to the fact that there are still good home improvement companies out there and tradesmen who take pride in their work. I can't say enough about them!

My garage door would not work. Called Precision by chance from phone book as they were close to my home.Craig E came to house and showed me the problem with old opener. Told me what it would coast to fix and also pointed out that it would be about half the price of a new and better opener. I went with the new opener and the best they had. What a joy to use new opener. My joints make more racket in the A.M. than this opener. He even reprogramed wife's car to the new system. We are vary happy with job & opener. Craig was neat and polite. He showed me some potential problems to watch out for with the springs & bearings and took the time to answer all my questions before & after installation. No pressure just common sense advise. Grate job and will recommend him & company to neighbors if they ask.

I came home to couple of problems and notified Precision. Chris came out on 11/11/15 to review the problems and sent Luke out on 11/14/15 to repair the problems. Chris, Kate & Luke were courteous and handle my situation with excellent customer service & professionalism. I now have a great new garage door, 2x6 pressure treated wood framing and no fear of it falling on the vehicles. I would highly recommend them for your garage door installation.
