Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It is true that I tried to call the owner's personal cel phone I left a message expressing my concerns and told him I would like to work this out reasonably He still has not called me back I then tried to call the salesperson as he suggested, but all I got was the voice mailbox of someone else, with no reference to Precision Pest Control How am I supposed to talk to the sales representative as the owner suggested if I can't even get hold of him directly with the number provided for him? It is obvious that this company is avoiding communication with us Since the company is responding on this forum, I will address them directly here, and hope that I am wrong that they are avoiding working this out with us: To Precision Pest Control- We are not trying to get out of anything that we currently owe you All we want is to pay you for those services which you have provided us at this point- we will even concede to pay you the full amount for the second service (though we would not have agreed to that price if we had actually seen the terms of the agreement before signing) We then want to be released free and clear from this agreement We think this is a fair compromise, since I never had a chance to actually see the agreement before signing it, and because I was not directly and specifically told that I was signing a contract for additional services, at additional prices The salesman who visited my door told me that this company wants to keep its customers happy We are not happy This is clearly a misunderstanding which can be easily resolved by Precision Pest Control if they truly value customer satisfaction We hope that the company's response will reflect that its management cares about doing the right thing for its customers If our compromise is rejected, and if the owner continues to insist on holding us to a contract I was not able to see before signing, I think it will clearly show that customer satisfaction is not Precision Pest Control's priority, and that customer entrapment for their own financial gain is Sincerely, Jamie S***

All sales representatives of our company are trained to explain the service schedule and agreement. All we have to go on is the signed agreement, and past experience with the sales representative, which has always been a clear representation of our agreements. We occasionally give heavy discounts on the initial treatment in exchange for customers signing the 12 month agreement. We have never done a one time service for 35 dollars. We still stand by the original agreement. Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: The salesperson from this business did not explain to me that I would pay $99 in additional service charges. He knew I did not want to pay that amount in the first place, which is why he offered me a discount; he never mentioned $300 in additional payments. He only ever quoted me the initial discount. I told him I would pay cash for the service, and he said the business preferred my credit card. Once he had this, he had control of my finances. He simply told me to sign his IPad without explaining the additional charges. It was presented to me as if my signing had to do with payment, not additional terms. He did not tell me I had to "click on" anything in order to understand terms, and I was given nothing to read. The entire transaction took place on his IPad which he held, except for when I signed, limiting my opportunity to view anything. The salesman was not straightforward. His sales tactics were misleading and deceptive. The management refused to listen to my husband who initially contacted them with our concerns, and told us to contact the salesperson. Management did not respond to my call.  The number we had for the salesperson led to the voicemail of an unknown woman named Emily. The entire correspondence has been unprofessional and unhelpful.

To whom it may concern:I am the sales representative who went to John L[redacted]'s home. John answered the door and I explained the service to him. He invited me inside to talk more about the service to him and another woman. I was not aware that they were having a dispute as they acted calm during the...

entire process. When they agreed to terms of the agreement, John physically gave me the credit card tor the service- not the woman. Mr L[redacted] clearly understood that his card was going to be used to pay for the 1 year of service. We discussed treating the other building on his property as shown on the agreement. We have also included a copy of the invoice for the first service. When the technician arrived to perform the second service, Mr L[redacted] refused service of either building on his property. I personally spoke to Mr. L[redacted] at that time and reminded him that, per the agreement, we would then charge the 50% cancellation fee. Mr. L[redacted] continued to refuse future services. We did everything according to the agreement. If Mr L[redacted] would like to finish the year agreement, I am willing to apply the cancellation fee to the final services of the agreement.

I am rejecting this response because:
,A few weeks ago I sent a message to Precision Pest Control through their website. Unfortunately I do not have a copy of my message, for when I sent it, the message disappeared, and they never responded to me. In the message I reminded them of my primary complaint which were the high pressure sales tactics used in the first place, and the dismissive manner in which my concerns were treated. In that message I offered a compromise. They have on account over $300 for which I have received no services. The one-time service referenced did not occur because at that time I asked the technician to leave. What I would like is for them to come and spray the inside and outside of my house and my outbuilding with compensation being the money they already have on account. After this treatment on both buildings I will consider the matter settled. I do not want to reinstate the year contract which I believe to be fraudulent as it was signed by a "Marilyn L[redacted]" who was not my wife nor authorized to use my name.  The message I sent was ignored and I heard nothing from Precision Pest Control.

As shown in the attached agreement, Jamie S[redacted] agreed to a one year term of service with one initial treatment at $35 and four quarterly treatments at $99. Our agreements are done entirely via iPads. The iPad shows an electronic version of the agreement with a box at the bottom that you need to...

click stating that you read and understand the terms of the agreement. Only after clicking that box can a customer sign the agreement. It is extremely clear throughout the entire process that it is an agreement for a 1 year service term.  We do need to complete the agreement as the terms state. We are happy to cancel the agreement upon receipt of the cancellation fee as outlined in the agreement should the customer not wish to continue on with service. Our sales representatives are trained to explain the agreement, and all information about the agreement is made available to the customer prior to signing the agreement. Thank you.
