This official complaint is the first we are hearing of the issue at handAfter reading through the complaint, we did some digging and found a few things out.Based on our paperwork, we would have no reason to think the customer was not satisfied after our return visitHe signed off on the Customer Care form indicating resolution was made and he was satisfiedI apologize that there were further issues not communicated back to the office.I spoke with ***, the Lead Technician for this projectHe stated that we touched up the front porch after the customer indicated it was not as clean as expected and also threw in front steps for free as a courtesy to the customer for having failed to deliver a perfect cleaning the first time around. While on site for the touch up, [redacted] and the customer walked around the house to be sure everything else was done wellThe customer noticed on the back side of the house that there was oxidation on the vinyl siding that had not been removedThis is not mold or mildew, as the customer indicated in his complaintThe UV coating has broken down and the siding has a powdery layer as well as some super-heating at the fasteners(vertical lines, evenly spaced) [redacted] explained, though maybe not as thoroughly as needed, about the oxidation and that it needed to be brushed offThis is not a service we normally offer It is pointless to scrub off oxidation as it just returns quicklyIt would not be worth the extra charge to the customer and we feel it would be dishonest to up-charge for a service with such a limited lifespan and no restorative valueThere are rare occasions when the customer needs the oxidation removed for photographs etc when we will offer this service but it is always with honestly regarding the brevity of the results. This is directly from the back of the invoice/quote sheet provided to the customer at the initial meeting "Vinyl siding and paint fail with timeA powdery oxidation appears on the surface that is removable bybrushingThis film will return fairly quickly once removedOccasionally, small amounts of this film washaway during our cleaning process, leaving a blotchy look to the siding once dryThis is temporary.Precision Pro Wash will not return to brush your home to restore the uniform look without additionalfeesPlease consider this before having us clean sun damaged siding."After my investigation, I feel we have done right by this customerWe provided a service as outlined and also honored our customer service guarantee

I can't accept the business's response until I see what they do not what they sayFirst, Let me state I signed the paper because your tech said it was not your fault & it would have to be brushed at an additional chargeAlso I looked at my home when it was wet & it is harder to see thenYour salesman told me your work would fix the spots I showed her but in fact it made some worseI signed it accepting I lost out on a large sum of money because companies like yours defend their employeesI wish I could have recorded your tech so you could have heard his tone & attitudeHe did not like coming out here the second timeIf you were as in tune to customer service as you think your technician would have told you I was not happyI put no weight on a signature on a piece of paper these daysI did not have my glasses on & assumed it only meant your people were here as do most forms these daysYour tech never said I was signing to say I was satisfiedThe more I thought about how much I paid & your tech told me it was not going to get better w/o additional funds why would I call youI heard all the customer service I needed to hear from himIt's OK I am proud to say I had two families ask me about your work & I told them the storyThat knocked you out of two jobs & who knows how many they will tellWord Of Mouth is your businessI am not surprised your tech lied he does not have a good attitude anywayThe only day I have open next week is Tuesday 11/18 all dayIt is best to come in the sun in the afternoon but some places such as today are easier seen when it is overcastI will be out of town the week of Thanksgiving & part of the following week.*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
Hello,
I have read the response from the business & the *** he spoke of knew that I was not satisfiedIf my siding is sun damaged they should have told me that beforehandI was expecting the results the flyer said I would get*** told me that it would need to be brushed when I showed it to him after they finishedThe back of my house where the photos were took was the main reason I tried their service*** said it would clear the siding up of the dark spots when in fact it made some of it worseThe more time went by & the longer no one contacted me was why I felt I needed to use the Revdex.comI was right because you can see the companies attitudeI have knocked them out of at least two jobs with my neighborsReally they did it themselvesAll I had to do was show them their work & tell them what a large sum of money I paid & how poor their attitude is about my satisfaction
Thanks,

[redacted] visited the property yesterday, 11-20-14. [redacted] was not home but he took some photographs of what he thinks he may be referring to.I've attached 3 of them to this email. The ones of the siding and [redacted] fingers shows a spot where the siding is darker beside the gutter. This is where the siding has not been damaged by the sun because it's protected by the shadow of the gutter. The UV coating has not broken down there yet. The rest where is it lighter colored is oxidized, meaning the sun has broken down the coating and the siding is now chalky. If we did scrub the white off it would simply return in a few months since there is no barrier to prevent it like when it was new. The manufacturers warranty may cover this. The photo of the flashing up by the roof is where the aluminum is showing through the paint. Unfortunately, this is also due to oxidation. In this case it is worn through the paint completely, causing it to fail. These are both aging issues and not cleaning issues. He looked around to see if there was anything he could clean that was missed but it appears the job was completed properly.Let us know if we can assist further.

[redacted],I'm sorry for my delay in responding, I had not personally seen this. I want to come out to see your siding in person since what you're describing now does not line up with what my technicians said. You're saying it is dark, the technicians said it was light. Do you have an ideal time frame for me to meet with you and see if I can address this issue?I'm still confused as to why you signed the form on 9/18 saying all of your issues were resolved if they were not. I hope you do understand that this is how we gauge satisfaction. If the form is signed, the office does not know to follow up further. I do apologize that you feel you were ignored.[redacted]

This official complaint is the first we are hearing of the issue at hand. After reading through the complaint, we did some digging and found a few things out.Based on our paperwork, we would have no reason to think the customer was not satisfied after our return visit. He signed off on the Customer...

Care form indicating resolution was made and he was satisfied. I apologize that there were further issues not communicated back to the office.I spoke with [redacted], the Lead Technician for this project. He stated that we touched up the front porch after the customer indicated it was not as clean as expected and also threw in front steps for free as a courtesy to the customer for having failed to deliver a perfect cleaning the first time around. While on site for the touch up, [redacted] and the customer walked around the house to be sure everything else was done well. The customer noticed on the back side of the house that there was oxidation on the vinyl siding that had not been removed. This is not mold or mildew, as the customer indicated in his complaint. The UV coating has broken down and the siding has a powdery layer as well as some super-heating at the fasteners. (vertical lines, evenly spaced)  [redacted] explained, though maybe not as thoroughly as needed, about the oxidation and that it needed to be brushed off. This is not a service we normally offer.  It is pointless to scrub off oxidation as it just returns quickly. It would not be worth the extra charge to the customer and we feel it would be dishonest to up-charge for a service with such a limited lifespan and no restorative value. There are rare occasions when the customer needs the oxidation removed for photographs etc when we will offer this service but it is always with honestly regarding the brevity of the results. This is directly from the back of the invoice/quote sheet provided to the customer at the initial meeting "Vinyl siding and paint fail with time. A powdery oxidation appears on the surface that is removable bybrushing. This film will return fairly quickly once removed. Occasionally, small amounts of this film washaway during our cleaning process, leaving a blotchy look to the siding once dry. This is temporary.Precision Pro Wash will not return to brush your home to restore the uniform look without additionalfees. Please consider this before having us clean sun damaged siding."After my investigation, I feel we have done right by this customer. We provided a service as outlined and also honored our customer service guarantee.
